How many playoff games have P. Manning, Drew Brees and Matt Stafford won in their first 3, or 4, or 5 years???? Better yet, how many have they won in their first 2 years like Dak did???

Im not saying Dak is better than Brees and Manning, so don't start your usual lying. Im just showing that a quarterback's career isn't defined by his first 5 or 6 seasons.....

Explain that!!!

I'll wait.....

So you select Super Bowl winning QB's, in which 2 of them were drafted #1 overall which means their respective teams (Colts and Lions) were not very good simply to somehow support your illogical viewpoint.

Why not use current players like Josh Allen (3-3 in playoff games his first 4 years and an AFC Championship appearance), Joe Burrows (3-1 in playoff games his first 2 years and a Super Bowl appearance), Patrick Mahomes (8-3 in playoff games his first 5 years and a Super Bowl victory), or Lamar Jackson (1-3 in playoff games his first 4 years)?

Could it be because they have all been in the league less than Dak and had more success than Dak has had in 6 seasons (Dak 1-3 in playoff games in 6 seasons)?

Oh ok, so you wanted to deflect from the original guys we started out discussing huh.... when it comes to other quarterbacks, its a team thing, but when it comes to Dak, its all on Dak, not the team, not the weak offensive coordinators.... just all on Dak.... the 4th rounder compared to 1st and 2nd rounders.... LOOOOOOL!!!

No problem!!! Trent Dilpher and Nick Foles have more Superbowl rings than Dan Marino and Jim Kelly. So that means Dilpher and Foles are better than those two right???

Oh wait!!! Trent Dilpher and Nick Foles have the same amount of rings that Aaron Rodgers have. So that means they are on Rodgers level according to your measurement scale??

Yep they sure do!!! They have more than Manning and Brees had at this same time in Dak's career as well!! Yep!!

But again, your logic says that Dilpher and Foles are on the same level as Rodgers because they all got one ring apiece. Again, this is your measuring guide.

I always get caught up in these posts as others do.. constant bickering back and forth about Dak.

I should just save my time, come back in 5 years and drag these posts back up and name off all of you Dak defenders and throw it in your face that Dak ends up going down as a mediocre average QB. Very little playoff success, waste of money.

Maybe then you all will realize you just don't have an eye for football talent. You should just watch football and comment on their uniforms. You would have more success.

Let me start out by saying that there is literally NOTHING that Cooper Rush does better than Dak Prescott. NOTHING. Lie to yourselves if you want to. Allow your biases against Dak to cloud your thinking all you want but there is nothing Rush does better. He plays within his own ability and doesn't try to do to much and manages to do just enough. That's his job. Yes, I give him props for that, he deserves it.

The funny thing to me is, the same people who are pumping up Cooper Rush are the people who saw him in training camp and in the preseason, who were screaming from the rooftops for Will Grier to be handed the backup QB job. That's not hilarious to anyone else? Yall think he's just a guy that turns it on with lights on?

So all of a sudden, Dak gets hurt, and Cooper Rush comes in and performs the role of a substitute teacher and we happen to win two games and now he's better? All he's been asked to do is follow the teacher's lesson plan and not let the kids burn down the classroom. THAT'S IT! We've scored two touchdowns in the last seven quarters and all of a sudden, he gives us a better chance to win. We lose these games easily if not for the defensive efforts we have gotten. Dak hangs 40 on that Giants team. Make it make sense. I got a BC powder for your eventual headaches.

Stop this ridiculousness.
How can you possibly know they are the same people? Are you logging posts and names. Name one person by name who said these two conflicting things you claim the same people are saying

This whole post is so holier than thou, and that to me is laughable

That would work on some threads on this one you would also need to show how Rush went on to actually start at QB for a team for 5 years or whatever...then you could throw the Dak vs Rush thing in peoples face...unless the title to the thread is wrong.

Past success does not equate to future success.
Past failures does not equate to future failures/successes.

However, what has shown to be proven true in Dak's last 10 games is that he has laid duds all over the place.

You can dream to keep Dak on your team and pray and wish for a SB win cause, it'll happen eventually!!! However, most of us have seen Dak in the playoffs and with loaded teams and has failed repeatedly over and over. And we are ready to move on.

Ok, apparently you're not reading all my posts and just deciding to assume, so answer this question for me.....

I stated that I want Rush to play against the Eagles and Rams.... if Rush is as successful against better competition, the way he has been against lesser competition.... i literally typed that he SHOULD BE OUR STARTER and our front office should listen to potential trades for Dak before the deadline.....

Please explain to me what part of that statement says or shows anything close to "dreaming to keep Dak"......

I'll wait.....

Show me your move on scenario..because if its Rush just stop with saying "Wishing" because your not throwing stones out of a glass house at that point...your firing mortars from a wet toilet paper cottage. You have an upgrade scenario lets see it, if its Rush after the last 2 games then I'll take your comment for what its worth.

If Rush beats LA and Philly yes keep him.
Otherwise move on from both dak and Rush

But those 2 games cost the team 5 million dollars. If there isn't much of a difference what is the team paying for?

these guys can't move on from Dak. They put all their eggs in the basket on dak. They hate Romo and hope Dak can be their savior. They now hate Rush because he's showing Dak's shortcomings, which are many. shrugs you know it's true. They have committed on Dak and are not going back or forward.

Ok again how?
A: how do you see the Rush led offense beating either of those teams?
B: how will you move on from Dak?
How? What do you mean? Score more points than them? There’s a big word in my post that says IF. I didn’t say why or how.

b - trade him to any takers? If not, keep him cause we are forced to and bolster the defense and wr corps.
It’s not rocket science.

no its not and thats why i asked...the answer is your not moving on with anything other than a rebuild...if he is not good then who would trade for him? he also has a no trade clause...you could cut him and but his Cap hit comes due..or bench him and pay 40+ mill for 2 years as he sits on the bench...again the only real hope we have is he comes back and plays like he did to start last season, every other scenario is incredibly bad for this franchise.

Guess we're stuck in mediocrity for the near future. At least it's fun to watch the defense play.
