Yes LVE got in front of him basically forcing him to go down. At least from the view of it. Maybe he stepped in front of him after he started his slide. Need to see it again.

Make no mistake, that was a fantastic job of getting his hands under the ball, controlling it, and rolling on his side so there'd be no question.

No, LVE was emphatically signaling for him to hit the ground before he made any type of attempt to do so.

I don't know maybe he's talked about watching film with Lee and everything he learns from it. His pre snap reads help make up for his loss of speed.
