Will KM stick to this gameplan when Dak comes back?

Ball control and setting up the pass through the run game? Dak is good, but he shouldn't be throwing the ball 40 times a game....50/50 pass and run along with a stout defense has won many games in this league. Protect your defense and keep them fresh....
I know Dak calls many pass plays from the line, he needs to be held back a bit from doing this. Hopefully, he's learning something from the sideline and hopefully KM and MM have the sack to hold him accountable.
Is it Moores playcalling with Dak as QB.. Or Dak as QB changing plays at the line from run to pass.. I am going to forget about the bucs game. Neither QB did anything. Give me what’s coming and I will judge.

I’ve been seeing a lot posters here say the offense has been dumbed down and simplified for Rush. Now I see that KM needs to have the same offensive plan for Dak.

So are some of you finally admitting that Dak isn’t all that great?
I’ve heard no one suggest KM has “dumbed” the offense down. He hasn’t.

The question is will McCarthy continue reining in Moore to stick with the run game and sticking to their play sheets for the game plans.

I take it some of you don't watch McCarthy's press conferences.

It seems Dak is causing a lot of his own problems by checking out of run plays too much. Once he checks in to the pass play he can’t read the defense as well as Rush so he can’t get the ball out quickly and often times just checks down, or worse, throws it to a receiver covered by 3 guys. Then when he does get a pass off it is 50/50 on accuracy. I am no fan of Moore but seeing Rush run the offense has been illuminating.

You answered your own question. Dak needs to be reeled in, IMO, in order to stick with the game plan.

This is the formula, and it hasn't changed. This approach even fit s the personnel (OL better at run blocking, good RBs, WR n TEs can block). A run heavy scheme supports/compliments a good defense. Cowboys have been running over every opponent, and ppl want them to start passing for what? Dak's stats? You play the game to win.

That's right. McCarthy has stated that it's important to run the ball, saying "it's a winning formula."

His deep ball, accuracy, mobility, leadership, poise.....what else you need?

accuracy has always been questionable. mobility after his injury is questionable. leadership doesnt mean squat if you dont perform. poise? you are out of your mind... the guy folds like a cheap tent under pressure. at the end of the day, I dont think the guy can read a defense to save his life. He can be great at the deep ball, have accuracy, good mobility, off the chart leadership and have great poise but if you can't read a defense and make adjustments you are a below average to an average QB in the NFL.

I've seen nothing to suggest he can't read a defense. You don't make it to the NFL with success not being able to read a defense.

As far as his poise take it up with Kurt Warner.....

Just listened to the Rich Eisen podcast with Amari Cooper on it... And, he tells how in Cleveland, they actually run what they practice, during the games. Unlike "previous spots," by the time the game comes on Sunday, "it's like a whole new game plan" compared to what was practiced during the week... Smh

Sounds like he didn't know all the plays in Dallas and Cleveland has dumbed down the playbook for him.

Unable to adapt is a weakness.

Executing a gameplan is different than knowing the playbook. A gameplan is a plan for the game. An offensive coordinator that can execute a gameplan that was implemented during the week is a strength.

Why do you think the game plan is different?

He wants Dak to have a gazzilion stats...and can win the game by himself....but Cooper needs coddled with a run game and a defense. And we are winning.

Sorry dude...I'm dense. I don't understand this theory. If you are right....Dak and Kellen Moore and maybe Mike need fired...NOW.

There are other people that would have known this way before now.
Weird post. Who wants Dak to have a "gazillion" stats? What is going on here?

Not touching the confession of you being dense.
I think you're pretty cool.
