wanting to see rush win another game, save the losing for next week with dak !:D

If we win today with Cooper Rush we have to stay with him until he we lose a game with him or he has a bad day because the fan base would be livid if we bench him while we’re on a roll and Dak comes back and lays another egg. Dak is in a funk and appears to have lost his confidence.

:hammer:....we always play down to the competition and make it a closer game than it should be.

But then again. ...the NFL makes sure with all the penalties....games are close.

It’s going to be difficult to avoid a close game today because we’ve struggled to score TDs. Rush only has two passing TDs the past two weeks. We’re keeping games close by running the ball and playing great defense. We’ve been relying on our kicker which eventually will come back to bite us. I’ll be surprised if this game doesn’t come down to the fourth quarter like our last two games. We haven’t shown enough offense to pull away from anyone and penalties are still an issue. Self-inflicted wounds can get you beat.

I see. Far too often I see fans equate their overconfidence with the team and read into it as having been the team's overconfidence when it was more projection than anything. Many times the loss had nothing to do with overconfidence and everything to do with countless other concerns.
I also see many NFL teams stealing games they have no business being in. Why? Very likely due to complacency vs a hungry underdog.

We were that two weeks ago. Washington is that today.

Also, if fans are dismissing it as not a very urgent situation, there’s a good shot the players are as well.

Funny how fans seem to think that their overconfidence affects the outcome of the game. I don't imagine the players or coaches are making this mistake.
The fans at the stadium tend to make less noise if they think their team is suppose to win. The fans at the stadium will boo early and often if they think their team is suppose to win. If the energy of the crowd at a game sucks, then the players could get mad at the crowd. And an upset player(s) could just stop exerting full energy on a couple of series. So the potential exist whether some agree with it or not.

Depends on defense
Wince can be good for a couple of turnovers if pressed

He definitely can turn the ball over but so could Daniel Jones and we only got one off of him. We just need to show up today, especially on defense because we’re winning because of defense.

They’re not terrible. They beat Jacksonville in the opener and Jacksonville has won two straight games since. They put up more points than the Cowboys have this season and they held Philly’s number one ranked offense scoreless in the second half last week. I really don’t know why some fans are so overconfident about this game when our only two wins went down to the final series in the fourth quarter against a couple of mediocre teams. I don’t want to hear that Cincinnati went to the Super Bowl last season they haven’t been very good this season. Carson Wentz has beaten the Cowboys before. We better show up today or fans will be back to throwing in the towel on this season.
Bengals are losing their long snapper week 1 from 3-1

Scott Turner is going to kill us with the screens today. It's on tape.

I say we only get to Wentz three times. But who knows, he may start wincing.

You said the Bengals haven’t been any good.

If their long snapper doesn’t get hurt week 1 they beat Pittsburgh

They found a way to lose and are 1-2. Their OL continues to be crap. They were very lucky to make the Super Bowl last season. They won’t come close this season.

They are 2-2. They beat the 3-0 dolphins on Thursday. That’s why I said if their long snapper does not get injured they make the XP and beat Pittsburgh

Welp, i guess it's up to Lamb and Brown today. I don't expect much from Gallup, just trying to get some game action and confidence on the knee. Jake and Hendershot with Pollard will need to help out at receiver.
