Dak already admitted he messed his thumb up further by pushing it too far.

He'll take back the starting job eventually, but it'd be beyond dumb to force him back this week at 3-1

You go with the hot hand. Simple as that. If rush keeps us in games and is winning. Why change up anything. Rush is 3-0 and Dak is 0-1 starting this season. Dak is the better athlete, but Rush is not making costly mistakes, and driving the short bus of offense to wins.

lol I’ll kinda repeat what I just said to someone else.

If Moore and McCarthy limits Dak ability to autonomously run the offense and force him to be more of a bus driver, I’d love to have Dak back ASAP

my worry is that they’ll just let him keep winging it and running the show like he’s Peyton Manning, which is where Dak’s deficiencies from glaring. If they protect Dak from himself and acknowledge his limitations, I think the Cowboys could be phenomenal
