Amari Cooper

He was a WR that played for the cowboys, turned dak into one of the best passers in the league, and made really big time plays for us

Cooper came to the cowboys mid season. From that point on Dak became one of the top passers in the league.

It is a small sample size, but how did Dak do in his first game without Cooper?

One thing that has always been common with Cooper is that he has great stats at home and not-so-great stats on the road.

There are exceptions of course, but it is a lot more common than it should be for a receiver with his talent.

I'll take the level of dedication, grit and consistency I'm getting from Brown for the price over Amari Cooper any day.

Great point.

Amari Cooper

20 Catches
228 yards
2 TDs

Ceedee Lamb
23 Catches
288 yards
2 TDs

One is/was considered a WR1 here while the other is considered a WR2 that only benefitted bc all the attention went to the other

That’s what people were saying just a week ago lol

It was never a comparison between the two. It was about what this offense could do with vs without Cooper. The jury is still out until QB1 gets back, because quite frankly, he looked awful without 19 on the field. Hopefully it was just early season jitters.

I am an amari guy and the point is we could have had both with some cap work. It’s really not 1 or other for me. It’s maximize the chance at a super bowl right now and to me it’s easier with both.

that said if ceedee keeps balling out it makes losing cooper much easier to forget

you’re an overly emotional weirdo. why would i root for the Browns? because so happen to still like a former Cowboy? that’s due to how much i love the Cowboys. Are you 12? just repeat things said to you, bring up moms, and call people nose pickers? lol you’re either young, drunk or slow.
You called me a clown and expect me not to go off on your ***. Go root for the Browns and stop quoting me. You responded to me first and you keep going it for some reason. You caught emotional because I talked about your favorite player sucking today. I don't like Amari Cooper, nor the Browns. I root for the players that currently play for the Cowboys.. Now please take your emotional *** on somewhere and move on.

I only remember two dominant games from AC when he was here, his first against the Eagles, when he caught a bouncing ball to win it, and last year's against Minny with Rush at the helm, he caught another bouncing pass on that last drive and ended up scoring the winning TD too.

I think a 20+ Million WR should be more dominant presence on your offense, like Dez or TO or Mike used to be, or some other examples around the league.

Was he being misused? Was it Dak's fault or Kellen's? Was AC inconsistent? IDK but I think we'll be OK with what we got at WR now and they should involve the RB and TE more in the passing game anyway.

Love how you move the goalposts….
The comparison was NEVER really Ceedee vs Amari it was whether we were a better team with both vs not.
Dallas has how much money left sitting and not being used? Jerry said last week that they could not afford to pay Amari, yet where did he allocate those resources? This team should have upgraded the interior of the OL, especially with emphasis on the running game.

I have no reasons at all to bad mouth Cooper, I think he did a great job when he was in Dallas but Cowboys have moved on. Meanwhile CeeDee is doing a good job and just needs to stay focused not get distracted with things outside of this team.
