Any chance rush signs an extension?

To me, a team like Seattle or Tennessee are great fits. Seattle is more appealing because they have the draft picks they could trade away. We are a blessed team. Just think about how most teams can barely find 1 serviceable QB in the NFL, yet we have 2 suddenly...MAYBE 3 if Grier turns out 2 be a find. I wouldn't bet against Grier.I wonder what Denver is thinking right about now? Wilson looks washed...just a guy really. Rush looks like a better QB. he just does.

Some of you need to come back to reality. No team is throwing big money at Rush and hitching their wagon to him as a starter. He is a weak armed bus driver type QB that is making the most of his first real opportunity to show what he can do. Teams are looking for much more if they are going to invest big money in a QB. All he is really doing is proving to be a reliable backup that can win you some games if called upon. Jerry will pay him a few million more to keep him.

Well I think that all depends on these next 2 games. I tend 2 agree with you though. I never said teams are going all in on a trade scenario. Just saying, he's a guy a team might throw some valuable draft capital at to see if he can be that guy that comes in and provides a spark.

he's probably gone after this year. Right now, you can still say he's flash in the pan.

Yesterday he was picked twice, lady luck was being kind, she reconsidered.

He was picked once vs NYG, it was reconsidered

Glad though, he can stand on his feet and deliver.

I guess now we'll have to be counting how many almost picks this Dak guy gets every week now. These guys go thru great lengths to prop up their hero.

I have a feeling some team will throw a good chunk of change at him this offseason in hopes he can be there Ryan Fitzpatrick bus driver while they develop a rookie QB.

Dak will be back by the Philly game. NO team is going to offer him big money based on 4 or 5 games. Stop it.

Rush will probably get a decent backup QB offer from some teams. More than what we can afford. Then again, Jerry will have him franchise tagged after hitting the bottle all night.

I think an extension is certainly possible but he's going to want a little bit more money. I say pay the man, Jerry!

You're spot on, at this point teams will likely view him as a good backup QB option. That usually fetches 2.5 to 4 million a year. On the high end backup QBs that may also be viewed as a short term starter get upwards of 7 million. He's definitely playing himself into a raise, but unless he starts putting together 300+ yard and 3+ td games I really don't think anyone would consider paying him starter money.

Let's keep the train rolling!

I think his best bet is to stay a Cowboy and wait 'til Daks contract expires, because there is no way Jerry will resign Dak to another expensive long term deal (Jerry's not that stupid, is he?)
Who knows, maybe there will be a REAL QB controversy, sooner than later, that will force Jerry's....ummm... I mean MM's hand.

Im no Scout...but saying R. Wilson is washed its nuts compared to Dallas' issues. Wilson looked fine to me a few weeks ago...and spare me the argument of why Seattle let him go. He has legs...and hes super safe with the ball...and can throw. Hes no perfect but hes not bottom dwelling.

People here said DiNucci reminded them of Romo

Romo didn't have to throw a pass in the league until his 4th season, and when he did he got to throw to TO, Terry Glenn, and Jason Witten.

DaNooch had to start as a rookie behind a bad oline. Much like Cooper and Romo, he may still end up showing something in a couple of years.

I get what your saying, but Dak is now (close to 30) the future is some QB we probably don't even know yet.
well thats really what I am talking about. The future is right now. If we are talking 2-3 years from now, I am keeping an eye on Arch Manning.

have u seen Denver games? Wilson hasnt liked like an NFL caliber QB since last year in Seattle. He had decent games, but many were just awful. Very shaky. He's just not able 2 lift his team right now.

He’s not that good. Getting pretty lucky with bad passes. Someone will likely overpay though. Hopefully we get a 3rd/4th comp pick and draft better qb

I think we like Arch Manning. Thats just a gut feel. The future QB isn't on the roster. That desnt mean we cant win with the guys w ehave btw. It just means in 2-3 years, I think we will have a chance 2 draft Arch.
