Not sure what drugs you are on but they must be elite.
Rush has gained 1 first down by rush since 2018.
Dak had 1 first down via rush in his partial game this year.
Those 2 are not comparable in rush threat.

Dak is in his 7th year so of course he runs less. All QBs do as they age.

Stop posting stupid things.
Rush looked good Rushing around on the Gallup Td . . . I think the difference between the 2 is that Rush is a QB and Dak is a RB

We ain't winning anything with Dak. Even surrounded by an All-Pro line, Pro Bowl receivers, and a good defense. Last year the guy was outplayed by Jimmie G at home, and the Niners weren't even playing that well and still rattled him.

Below are Dak's 40M QB stats in last year's playoff game vs the niners. Tell me how much worse Rush could have been.

23-43, 254 YDS, 1 TD, 1 INT (5 sacks).
Yup, he stands back there and pats the ball and looks like he doesn’t know what he’s looking at down field…..not all the time, but often enoug like in the playoff game and game 1.

I know we want to say how great te Oline is playing... and I agree, but QB play has a way of making the lines look good and bad. That innate sense a qb has that allows them to step up, twist the shoulders, just slide to the side a few steps, or see the blitz on his reads and get rid of the ball just means the QB is playing well and avoiding sacks.

So Im not sure, but how many sacks have we had in the last 3 games? I just looked, it is 2 sacks allowed in 3 games.

If Dak comes back and those numbers shoot up to 3 and 4 sacks per game, I dont want to hear a word about how poorly the Oline is doing. I think what Steve Young said was true, Dak should learn a little from Cooper when he comes back. Take what Cooper does well, and learn from it because I believe he reads the blitz and pass rush in general much better than Dak and that is why the Sacks are so low.

Dak should learn more how to put finesse onto the ball. Dak tends to muscle the ball into an area rather placing it where only the receivers can catch it. Rush also seems to get the ball out quicker.

One thing that Dak could really improve on the most though is to play from the center position, rather than shotgun. Rush does that better than Dak.

Burrow was simply incredible last year; what he accomplished in the SB when he was pretty much running for his life every play was remarkable. He is not playing that well this year; so more than likely last year was an aberration. We shall see.

He played like money for 17 games in the regular and 4 games in the post season for a total of 21 great appearances……so wouldn’t the first 2 games this year be the aberration?

I might add that his last 2 games he’s averaged 275 yards with 5 TDs and no picks with a quarterback rating of 115. I would say only his first 2 games were the aberration.

he’s back to balling out again.

Are you kidding? So you telling me the top QBs are so consistent because of all of the players around them?

Hmm.... so Denver's offense sucks. No line, crappy receivers, bad play calling. Then Peyton Manning shows up and al of the sudden the play calling became stellar, his WRs were suddenly great route runners getting excellent separation, and they went from a mediocre team to a SB team? uhm.... ok.
Aaron Rodgers….has often looked like poop when his top receivers or left tackle were out over the years. Mahomes looked terrible in the playoffs when his OL couldn’t block anyone. Besides, we were talking about Dak and Rush and our team, not a HOF QB on a SB winning team. In my opinion, neither Dak nor Rush could have beaten TB in game 1 and neither would have lost vs the last 3 teams. And neither will beat Philly unless the rest of the team plays the game of their lives.

Dak is one of the better QB's against blitz. When he is in, we go downfield more. I think our OL is at the point to where they can really handle that yet. We should probably keep the passing scheme close to what it has been the last few games

Are you hearkening back to 2020 or 2021 b/c none of that was evident against Tampa in the opener.

Every game, snap, and team we play is different. Perhaps having additional tape on some new linemen identifies some opportunities for opposing defenses. Or teams decide to play Dak differently. Or maybe it signals Dak needs to get the ball out faster. Or maybe an injury or returning player makes a difference. Way too many variables that can influence sack totals.

Don't worry, the typical band of misfits would all try to convince us that the o-line suddenly started playing worse when they "allow" 4-5 sacks once Dak returns
Of course because it’s never Dak’s fault.

One QB wants to just go out there and do his job. The other QB thinks he has to prove his naysayers wrong. So the QB who wants to prove himself will go for the deep shot when the extra protection isn't there. It's more of a mindset difference than it is the Oline.

JMO.
Agree. Dak kills drives going for the long ball too often on 3rd and 1.

I'm glad that I don't hate any of the QBs on the roster.

Rush has been terrific. I love that he gets the ball out quickly. Dak was playing poorly when he got hurt. I do like his skill set and arm strength much more than I do Rush's.

As far as Dak learning from what Rush has done? I hope so. If Dak stops learning he will never reach his potential. The same goes for Rush. A QB that can't learn from others is destined for a massive fall-off. I would have a hard time finding hope in any player who thought they knew so much that there was nothing to learn from the guys backing them up.
