They ran to his side a lot and cut blocked him in when he was at DE so he was forced to protect himself instead of trying to make a play. He's going to see a lot of that going forward. I was 5'7" 160 pounds in college so I never played d-line or linebacker.. My question for those of you who did play in the front seven. What's the counter for that? As a running back when people went after my legs my counter was to just give them a face full of knee. They might make the tackle but they would have to wait until they woke up to be congratulated by their teammates.
