No, I've not said "don't look ahead" a single time.

In fact, I've been talking about this exact scenario happening before the Commanders game.

Responding to anyone that suggest Dak isn't great is causing you to get your posters and what they say mixed up. Take a break from defending Dak and get right.

If Jerry is right, and yes we should take everything he says about injuries with a grain of salt, but if he's right and Dak is struggling to grip the ball right now, then no, he likely would not be playing in an all the marbles type of game. If Dak is struggling to grip the ball today, unless there is major improvement over the next 2-3 days, he can't play on Sunday.

Now, as I said, we have to factor in the Jerry variable here. I mean within an hour he went from Dak not playing to maybe Dak could play.

He goes on the radio this morning and says it's unlikely he can play because he can't grip the ball. Then an hour later, Todd Archer reports Jerry just said Dak might be able to play. Jerry spouts off a lot, especially about injuries, without thinking or knowing. Recall just a few weeks ago, he and his son were claiming Dak might be back in two weeks post surgery. Whiffed on that one.

To be fair he said both things during his 830 rambling with 105.3 The Fan. I don’t know if he went off afterwards and said something in addition to this but that particular phrase that was tweeted he said during the interview
