If Dak goes 0-2 you can't put Rush back

Wow, what a perfect storm. If Dak goes 0-2 the henchmen will want his head. Dak is better than Rush.

By how much is debatable, but he just is. Is Dak a 40 Mil a year QB? Hell no!

He can beat the Lions and the Bears.

This defense is the 'KEY" to where the cowboys will untimely end up.

It's going to be 5-3 or 6-2. Book it!

Well, this defense held the Bucs to 19 points.
Yes, the defense is the "key," but we're not beating the elite teams in the NFC without scoring touchdowns.
And that is where Dak comes in.
Posters are trying to let him off the hook by "blaming" the defense.
No, Dak needs to play like a $40 million quarterback. And that means finishing drives with more TDs than FGs.
Now that we have the defense, it's on Dak.
And now that we've seen Cooper Rush exploit defenses, it's on Dak to do the same.
I'm tired of these excuses.
NO ... MORE ... EXCUSES!!!!

They could have gotten rid of him before the March deadline THIS season. They love Zeke and there is no guarantee he is gone next year either. Wouldn't shock me at all if they kept him or even extended him. No one should be surprised if it happens.
Unless Zeke has an significant upswing in his play, he's good as gone.

Easy answer. In our society, a person is expected to produce in relation to their salary. Dak insisted on a top salary and has not produced relative to that number. As long as that is the case, he will receive much criticism. It's just the way it works!!!!!
I agree in principle . But isn’t the blame more on who believes he was worth his demands?

Jethro argued he was an Elite caliber QB not the bulk of the fans.

There’s always the possibility he restructures his contract. But he’s certainly not worth his current deal. A joke

People need to stop using the Patriots as some type of baseline for Dak. Every QB and their momma has a few hands here and there, but to point out, the OL dominated. Besides the fact the OL wore the Patriots down, at that point the Patriots were leading the league in single high MAN COVERAGE.

The Patriots were 2-3 at that point and BB still didn’t take the tracking wheels off of Mac Jones, who had a pick 6. They were still ahead of the Cowboys and had them at a 4th and 25 at one point.

A couple losses with Cooper will bring this Dak hating segment back down to earth.

It wouldn't matter if Dak came back this week and goes 0-2 or 0-13. He will remain the QB for the rest of the season. Rush is not the long term solution at QB, keep him on the bench once the switch has been made. Unless Dak plays lights out and wins us a superbowl tell Dak at the end of the season he is not going to be the starting QB for Dallas anymore, he can sit on the bench or ask for a trade. Draft a QB in the 1st round next year. Try and sign Rush to a very friendly low cost 2 year contract. That way Rush can start the season next year if the rookie needs a little extra time before he takes over plus we would still have a good back up if needed. If Rush wants a bigger contract let him walk and let the rookie hit the field running game one. If after 5 years the rookie hasn't taken us to the promise land, no second contract, let him walk and draft another QB. This hanging on to players and giving them contracts way above their playing abilities needs to stop.

Yea, we are all excited with the job Rush has done . We finally have a reliable backup QB.

But a 25th ranked offense isn’t sustainable if we want an opportunity to go deeper in the playoffs . It won’t hold up to the more prolific scoring offenses.

Well we have seen over the last 6 years that Dak is not the answer either.

If Dak losses two in a row after coming back and he is clearing not playing well and not much else team wise factors into it, I think you do put Rush back in.

We’re going to have to score some points to beat the Lions. They’re one of the highest scoring teams this season but they’ve also given up a lot of points. Dak will be persecuted by the fan base if he loses his next start with Cooper Rush still being undefeated. We need to wait until we lose a game with Rush before going back to Dak. We’re going to have a difficult time beating the Rams with Rush. If we lose then we bring Dak back for the Philly game. Philly currently has the best team in the entire league and if we lose the fans will be a little more forgiving of Dak knowing that we probably would have lost the game with Rush.

We’ve also seen over the last 27 years Jethro is not the answer either. And Dak might not be enough. I think there are some who over rate him and others who under rate him. I’m more in the middle .

To be fair though Dak has never had a top 10 defense. And it’s not likely this 25th ranked offense is sustainable going up against the more prolific scoring offenses. We need his production on offense . And hope this defense can stave off the better offenses and QB’s.

Not sure why this keeps coming up. He was the next in line to get paid and the next one always gets more than the previous one. That is just the way it works. Doesn't mean it's right. It's just the way it is.
Needs to change.. That's like a freebe in life.

You all have lost your minds with this QB situation. You're not gonna flip flop QBs every loss. Dak will be the starter when he's ready and Rush is playing himself onto someone else's team next year. (In a good way for him)

When Dak comes back and wins 3 games in a row, what will this place and front page of threads look like?
It will be like someone sprayed this place with RAID.

If we go 0-2 with Dak it will be because the offensive line has reverted back to being a sieve, if that happens it won't matter who's at the QB position.
and Maher misses chip shot Fgs, Defense gives up more points, more penalties, dropped passes, no one open, ..lets not blame the QB for bad team support and play.

all these happened last year and game 1...

this is what fans keep forgetting hey we win its team win we lose its all Dak.. they want to dal to overcome bad team play but laud Rush for being surrounded by great support.
