Jax is likely to go 0-4 versus the NFCE but they make the playoffs because that division is awful.

Minny is always around playoff contention.

End of day doesn't matter. The schedule is the schedule and you just got to beat the teams on it. No brownie points for facing harder teams.

Dallas against Philly for the division while New York and Washington fight for the cellar. Just like everyone thought.

Here's the irony of all of this. All these people saying the Eagles are overhyped or not good and haven't played anyone will then praise how good Philly is after our game. If we win, they will want to brag about our big win over a really great team. If we lose, they can make excuses like hey, there's no shame in losing to a really great team on the road with Dak just coming back from injury, etc.

It's pretty funny stuff.

I think Dallas will struggle mightily to stop the Philly run game, which has been stellar prior to this year. In the recent past, we abused their secondary and took leads that forced them to abandon the run. That is very unlikely in this first matchup.

Have to stay patient. Pound them with the run and take what the defense gives us through the air. Force punts and turnovers by Hurts and we win.

If we don't beat the Eagles in two weeks, they very well could be undefeated by Thanksgiving weekend when they play the Packers.

Here is their schedule:

@ Arizona
Dallas
Steelers
@ Texans
Commanders
@ Colts

There isn't one team other than us, with a winning record until they play the Packers on Nov 27th. That's insane. The Cowboys can't drop a couple more games or they could be 3 games or more out by the time December rolls around.

I could see the Giants losing 10 out of the next 13 games. They won't even be in the playoffs discussion by November. If that coach somehow gets them to 8 or 9 wins, he should win COY hands down.

Semantics what? You claimed I said something I never said. You started that. I never said it was stupid to think Dallas could have a better D than the saints. Anyone can have a better D than anyone, especially in august when we don’t know what each team has.

What does your semantics have anything to do with it? You made the claim, not me. It’s your wording that’s the issue
