I wish them both well, and hope they make me love them, but at present, no, I'm very willing to replace them both with upgrades...However, I don't see any available upgrades out there.
I couldn’t agree more. They’re both capable quarterbacks in their own rate. But I’m ready for franchise upgrade. I hope Cooper Rush stays as the back up.

Dak:
Top 10 QB entering the season (and certainly paid like one), or top 13 if you hate him, or below top 13 if you hate him and if you’ve had a lobotomy.

Played like crap in Week 1, then got hurt.

Rush:
How many backup QBs get 5 years on the same team and in the same system? Rush is living proof that hard work and continuity pays off.

I love his command of the offense and his willingness to throw deep if the matchup dictates it.

He’s fairly risk-averse and accurate enough.

He’s taken 2 total sacks in his 3 starts, and has ZERO TURNOVERS this season (to be fair, he might’ve gotten a tad lucky that his 2 INTs today were called back).

He plays the game as if it’s easy, or at least he’s making it look that way.

Don’t turn it over, don’t take sacks, take what the defense gives you, throw deep when it’s single coverage. Simple.

It helps having a defense and run game and when the penalties actually go our way for a change, but Rush is getting it done.

We have TWO QBs I believe in right now, and if we beat the Rams and Rush impresses again... Dak’s officially on notice. Play well or step aside!

Awesome problem to have. 3-1!
:starspin:

Love is a very strong word. Is it okay if I just like both of them?

It is unfair to Rush frame the questions as who do you like more Dak or Rush. The question should be what do you like more Dak at QB or Rush at QB with a top 5 DE (Von Miller or someone else) and a top 5 WR (Davante Adams or someone else).

“Your a guy”

I’m SHOCKED that you can’t differentiate “your” from “you’re”.

Nice thread from last October while Dak was in the MVP discussion.
:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

So basically the narrative now to save themselves embarrassment is that they never said “Dak was elite”, yet even that is proven false. Yes, we would go back to October because even the typical Dak-Stans can’t push the narrative the mediocre QB is elite without getting laughed off the stage anymore. We could also go back to October of 2019 as well.

No one called him elite. Like those post you quoted said He could become elite or top 3 Not one poster said he had achieved that status. Reading comprehension maybe ?

So the fault lies not with them, but with you.

Thanks for playing

And Julius is in my title because at the time i created my site Julius was our starting RB and it was meant to show a chain of succession. Sooooooo again ask before you assume

Man you sure jump to alot of conclusions. People with a low level of understanding, common trait amongst your type

Have some self-respect and just admit when you are patently wrong.

THRESHOLD? Are you high? Dak is BALLING out and has been before the injury and this season. MVP 100% for sure. Threshold my arse!! ELITE BABY! Savor it. Love it. Milk it. Suck it down raw and unfiltered!! Our QB IS ELITE and our years of glory are here and now. Sit back, relax, and sacvor the flavor of a championship level QB!! GO COWBOYS!!!

Facts are he was declared top 3 and has been declared top 5 multiple times in threads, while the Dak-stans proceeded to tell us how Allen hasn’t done anything and Herbert is “just another” QB. And that his critics don’t know what they are talking about.

And Julius sucked when he was starting. The guy was constantly running into the backs of his OL. Anybody could see he didn’t belong in the category of those guys mentioned in your name.

Yep. I have to admit Rush surprises me. Just a few weeks ago a lot of us thought the season was over. Some were mad that Dallas ignored the QB2 position. But as usual, Jerry lucks into yet another QB not expected to do much, do quite well.
Lot's of surprises too. I thought the O line was going to be awful, same with the WRs. And this defense if really fun to watch! Can't remember the last time I said that.

Sorry, I have zero respect for uneducated people like yourself who can’t differentiate “your” from “you’re.”

I’m a Cowboys fan who supports whoever my favorite team’s QB is.

Dak was considered a possible MVP by the entire NFL world last October, not just “Dak-Stans.”

And if we were “Dak-Stans,” we wouldn’t be so supportive of his backup right now.

By the way, there is zero reason for a hyphen in “Dak-Stan.” You must not read very much, or maybe you just can’t do it beyond a 5th-grade level. Another example of your inferiority.

I don't have to dislike Rush to know he is not the best QB on this roster..What he has done so far is great and should get him a nice paycheck for the work he has done the last 6 years. Cant ask for more from QB2....but again if both are healthy Dak is the better QB and gives us the best chance to win anything past beating teams we should beat.

Thats cute and all, but that has zero to do with the argument

1. Nobody argued that Dak was being touted as an MVP front-runner 3 weeks in, but the Panthers also were undefeated and 3 weeks does not make a season and we still said Dak sucked.

2. Nobody worth a grain of salt called this man elite, except Dak-Stan’s, as the evidence I provided CLEARLY shoes. Further, the argument was not that people were calling Dak elite when he showed his true colors for all the world to see.

3. It’s ‘easy’ to be ‘so supportive” of Rush, when the opposite would make you look like a complete buffoon. We all know you guys have to save face as he is now 3-0,you Dak-Stans were telling us the season was over when “the franchise’ went down.

Nope I'm with you. I've always been a big Dak guy and I still am. But I'm also a little worried about him bc he had a couple off games last year and he was flat out bad week 1.

Idk how anyone can't love Cooper Rush. He's done nothing but overachieve starting games in Dallas. And it seems like he's improved every single game too. I mean he was gutsy against Minnesota but he also made some scary throws that he's seemed to at the very least chill out on.

I think this could be good for Dak. Let him sit and rest until he is actually 100% physically good to go.

It’s amazing how the most ignorant posters think they’re actually the smart ones.

Dak doesn’t “suck” at all, in fact, he was ranked as a top 10 QB entering this season by NFL players, coaches, execs and scouts.

Sorry, an uneducated dunce thinking he knows better than those groups of people is genuinely hilarious.

I’m sure if Dak was playing you would temper your expectations as well

Good lord man I'm going to say it again, Julius was who was there. My screen name has nothing to do with his success or failure. Reading comprehension, look into it ! One post speaks for a whole fan base now ?

Just Bye ! You obviously has an agenda so have at it

Seriously. Have a Good day man

I dare someone to go look at Kurt Warner's release, and ball trajectory and then go look at Cooper Rush's.

With the right players, and the right offensive line and scheme, Cooper Rush could be a baller.

That said, Dak is a good QB in his own right. I just want to see him be consistent. If he can't adjust and just drive the bus, then we'll end up rolling with Cooper Rush.

I "like" both Dak and Rush.

Have always supported Dak but there is something missing there.
He IS good enough to get it done with a top 5 defense though. And this might be our best defense (front and back) since the 80s.
Rush is a great backup. That's fine, I guess.
