Dak is paid to perform against those types of defenses just like Mahomes did.

We can win the games like the last 3 without him.

Our entire Dak problem is he doesn’t step up in games against quality opponents. Especially in the post season when he does his disappearing act.

Just want to win. I’m enjoying the ride. I think most of us know that when Dak is ready, he will be our QB. All it’s going to take is for Rush to lose a game, and all this talk will go away.

I'm awaiting some convincing evidence that Dak rebounds from his doldrums lately and "takes charge" of his starting status. He'll be tested vs. the Eagles for sure, imho. I'm not especially inclined to put too much stock in what he did vs. the Bucs in game one, though. Here's hoping he effectively recovers from that experience and his thumb injury to renew our confidence in him. It seems we have two good QBs, though, for whatever it's worth. In the meantime, Rush will surely be taking on a yeoman's task by competing against the Rams.

A better poll, IMO, how many first round picks would you give up if it meant the Jones family and our front office being traded to Philly, for their owner and front office. I say five… And it’s a bargain to get out of this 26 year old purgatory ☹️

so you think dak and 3 points against TB is A ok??

KC lit TB up for 44 points.
you dont know what is sustainable or not and the point total for Rush has gone up each week.
I dont know why but scoring in most games is down this season. Below what it was last season.

If he beats the rams are they a avg defense? or real good? below TB? Say before the game!

The injury didn't give us a chance to see if it was just a case of you can't judge the season by game one, or if Dak would've lit it up in the following games. You want your Quarterback to keep getting better and your team to as well. Game one, no offense, well it wasn't very promising. Right now I don't see either leading us to the promised land.

31 other teams thought he wasn’t even backup material. It’s clear that he’s at least that and a bit more now that he’s won his first 4 games as a starter. He’s proven the NFL scouts, Front Offices, and fans wrong in their estimations, (Mine included)

My point is that there is such disappointment among fans and forum members that they willing to replace the 160 Million dollar, 7 year vet with a guy that everybody was wrong about…pretty incredible.

it’s not just 45% of responding forum members, it’s a large amount of Cowboys fans outside of this forum that I’ve spoken with that want a a change from the status quo…..people are tired of predictable final outcomes with Rayne Dakota Prescotta.

Do you think that game define Dak? Tampa has been the toughest team we've played. Because KC put 44 on Them means nothing in regards to us.

So he hasn't stepped up against quality opponents? You're wrong, he went toe to toe with Rodgers as a rookie, his defense let Rodgers convert a 3rd 21 to win, he played his *** off in a win vs Seattle, his 1 bad game came against San Fran last year. You're wrong as usual.

Do you people remember the garbage that was Dak Prescot before his thumb was injured in week 1? It wasn't that long ago so please stop pretending that did not happen. It happened and Dak gave us a fat "L" as a result. Do you want more of that? Only if you're in denial that that really happened would you say, yes I'll have more of that. If you live in the real world and saw the 3 wins Rush delivered, you will stick with Rush and winning. This is a solid football team with Rush. This is a dumpster fire offense with Dak. Please love the Cowboys and winning more than you love Dak by understanding Rush gives this team the best chance to get to the playoffs and beyond.

Its about 55 to 45 in favor of Dak right now. I will be curious to see if these numbers change very much if Rush loses to the Rams.

Now if Rush beats the Rams, I would expect Rush to overtake Dak in this poll.

Even though I currently voted for Dak to be the starter, I have to admit that I dont see a major drop off at all with Rush. In fact, some could argue the offense is actually better with Rush under center.

Considering one guy is making league min and the other guy is making $160 million, the fact that I dont see a noticeable difference between the two of them is very disturbing.

The dude who got the bag should be playing circles around the dude who is making league min, but that does not appear to be the case.

Yep, ive gone Prescott, but as you say the lesser talented Rush does seem to get the Offense working at a fraction of the cost.

I truly believe we are in a positive situation. The last three games will hopefully inspire and propel Dak, after all..... the FO seem to have put an Offense and Strategy (and with an accepted healthy roster) to succeed. If and it's a big if Dak isnt able to advance this Offense or doesnt show the same chemistry as Rush appears to have with the gameplan and receivers then we now have a Plan B in Rush.
