It's too early to know. Views of those teams will change as the season goes on. Plus, its early & most teams were fairly healthy. Parity is real. Often what separates records is who was healthiest.

I do think there is a much higher chance of them blowing us out than us blowing them out.

Not saying we can't win but they seem to match up well and I can't see us winning easily unless it's a game filled with turnovers, special teams scores, etc..

Lol- how do they match up well? You can't throw on Dallas. They will look like Clowns if this D brings their A game. We beat them by a combined 40+ points last season.

We will do no worse then split vs Philly. And if we take the 1st game. we will sweep. Again.

This thread is a little cringe. They've beaten every team they've faced and that's all they can do.

I could buy it with the Giants when they were 2-0 but the Eagles are 4-0 and haven't just beaten scrubs like the Giants had.

They've beaten Jacksonville and Detroit. Both scrubby.

He broke all kinds of records . . His stats were the bestest.
.i have a question. . . How did Dak do against Tampa last year compared to Tampa this year?

Then come back and tell me What point you were trying to make
Ah. I see you are a stats guy. We struggle to beat Tampa. Dak seems to own the NFC East. Enjoy looking at your stats…

We beat Philly by 3 TD's + in BOTH contests a year ago. They may take a game (not both) vs Dallas- but they will look very, very mortal when we play. That is a promise.

This isn't last year....and they are substantially better across the board.

Like I said, I'd love to be wrong but right now they are the class of the NFL, have a qb playing at an mvp level and the best lines in the game...if we split with them that would be an accomplishment

A QB that has feasted on weak teams. Is Hurts better than last year? We shall see when he meets a real defensive team. They have a cupcake schedule so they will win many games.
This sounds so much like our 2021 season.

We need to take it one game at a time. We beat the rams this weekend I will be happy. Then the egirls are next. Our Defense can keep us in games. Our Offense needs to turn it on..
defense pass rush is good. need to contain the runs to the outside. offense needs to just keep running the ball and not abandon it at first sight of resistance...

I've been trying to tell everyone that the Eagles are overrated.

We're going to beat the Eagles.

I'm more nervous about the Rams game.

With their schedule they may honestly lose maybe 3-4 games at best. Cake walk for the most part.

We won't knowly how good the Eagles are until they play teams like GB and Titans but on paper they have a stout offense and defense.

However same could be said for the cowboys. Giants and Washington suck. Cincy got off to a horrendous start and we looked lost agaisnt TB

The Titans aren't that good this season. They've lost some games that they really should've won, and they can't score in the second half. Mainly, if you shut down Derrick Henry, you win. We are likely their first big challenge. We've got the best defence that they'll have played so far when they play us in a few weeks.

In fairness, Jacksonville are a pretty solid team this year, and the Lions offense has been very good. Their defence sucks, but their offense has been very good. Also, Trevor Lawrence has been a turnover machine.

Can say the same for most teams. Who has Dallas beaten? Cincy isnt a great team, giants are improved but still not that good, wash still sucks. Even next week when rush beats the sheep, tgeir offense is terrible, their defense is average. Philly will be one of the best teams they play in the early part of their schedule.

Not taking anything away from Philly, but Trevor Lawrence LOST 4 fumbles and threw a pick and they still had a chance at the end.
That is Jax in a nutshell though, has zero to do with Philly.
Jax is just young and has no idea how to win but has play makers.
Thats why I am so fervently anti-tank because by the time you draft the guys, get them experience and teach them to win they are free agents.
I'd much rather push middle of round guys into a competitive team.
Trevor Lawrence is there for the long-haul, but he'll have all new teammates soon.
NFL teams usually put a LT and WR1 with that QB right away.

Philly is a solid team in a league full of bad teams. Their exorbitant cap and trade investments have paid off. They have a top 7 overall roster for sure.
But when it comes to the final 12 or 8 can Hurts handle the job? Thats the question left to be answered.
Because if not they have wasted a lot of cap cash.

Again zero credit for style points or anything like that but Dallas beat a good Cincy team with a back up QB and won 2 division games with same back up.
Thats objectively impressive.

Prolly doesn't matter as it will be really tough to beat LA with this back up QB and if they fall behind by 2 games versus Philly we will be desperate entering that one.
BUT if you win versus LA and have beaten BOTH Super Bowl teams with aback up QB then good grief that has to be best early season performance in the NFL.

And Dallas will have among the easiest schedules in football the rest of the year based on last year's results.

Dismissing the eagles wins is a mistake IMO

Jalen Hurts has played well he heard all of the critics and responded , there D is balling out also , and there offense has been efficient to explosive

They beat the commanders worse then we did

They beat the Vikings we beat the Bengals

Lions have improved IMO they are a fun team to watch actually on offense they score points, they are harder to stop on offense then the giants in my opinion

my worry is can our offense keep up both defenses will come to play ---- gonna be a edge of your seat game i have a feeling. If it is dak's return game he may be rusty and if rush starts and we fall behind early could be tough to overcome

Eagles are more then hype IMO

Im not scared by any means

I just think the eagles deserve a little more respect there team this year is different

The only team that looks better now than they did last year are the gnats. Looking at the rams before the season i thought it was a loss, but with how bad they are playing it should be a win. Right now philly looks to be the toughest opponent this early in the season but much can change.

Rams have a bit of a SB hangover and the cap spending has robbed them of depth and youth so I do think they are declining but I'm not sold Monday night was the best of what the Rams will do this year.
They still have a lot of key talent.
I'm not betting this game and it is Rams -6 if that tells you much. --I have taken Cowboys the first 4 games....

There has been some really bad football out there because so few teams have quality QBs paired with quality defenses.

I've never liked the argument that "they haven't played anyone."

If a team is winning, they lower the winning percentage of every team they beat. So, using that same winning percentage to show that they haven't really beaten anyone, is illogical. They are undefeated. Hopefully, regardless of what they do this week, that changes when we play them.

Have you watched any football this year? Jacksonville is a whole different team with Dougie P. coaching. They play hard. Lawrence is still learning and is turnover-prone (like many young QB's) but they play hard and have some good personnel. Before they played the Eagles, I believe they had the #1 rush D in the league. Philly ran for over 200 on them. Detroit has a suck-*** D but the offense is legit. They are the top scoring team in the NFL.
