Do we miss Randy Gregory?

Harder for me to blame them there.
They had cycled through low rent QB options and done jack squat for what feels like a decade. Simien, Flacco. Lock, Bridgewater
They took the shot in the dark with Russ.
That over the hill QB route got them a SB with Manning.

RG has never played a full season. EVER. Mostly likely never will.

Denver's offensive woes right now go well beyond the QB.
But it does beg the question of why pay a QB all that money if you suck around him.
This isn't about only overpaying $$$ for a QB long in the tooth, they overpaid with draft capital moreso than dollars.

No but wish they would of brought in Von

Buffalo is just a better football team. In the next few years Cowboys should legitimately start making a few runs at a title. Sure, it can happen this year, but it’s more of a stretch. One more draft and a few additions could take them to that next level. There should be a little more activity 2023 and beyond. That window is opening..

Getting him on the field when not injured or suspended, felt like an achievement. His stupid penalties, one of which came at the worst possible time(at the end of the SF playoff game), were so inexplicable, I felt like he was literally sabotaging his own team.
Randy has all world talent, but mentally, he can't get out of his own way. I don't know how many others feel this way, but when he left us for Denver for the same contract, but different language, I was smiling my *** off.

I really thought they would miss his pressure. I was pleasantly incorrect.

Only problem I have with Randy Gregory is that he was kept on the roster for as long as he was by the idiot running the team.

I can see now why Gregory said some Cowboy fans are toxic.

His moving on has been a win-win for both parties, he got paid and Dallas use that money for other resources.

Technically, we do not miss any of the payers we moved on in the offseason from..ive made many updates none are really better then what we have now and at 3-1 , nope we do not miss any of them.

think about this

Jarwin
Zurlien
Collins
Cwill
Ced
turner
Gregory
Cooper
Kazee

we have replaced all of them adequality not saying we made the team better or the replacement are better but they are at the very least equally as productive. ad in cheaper contracts ie cap savings and we are winning.

the offseason was Not a disaster, what was the posts saying historically worst off season ever, Tyler was a reach a raw project etc etc etc Jerry had no plan huh?

Pretty sure they wasn't.

I remember being bumfuzzled at how many people thought he was some kind of elite talent that we were letting get away.

I wish there was a poll done about that at the time so we could have receipts.

so it was just you? lol

Only people who miss Gregory are the pee testers and weed sellers in Dallas.

Because he was always either suspended or injured.

We will probably have 3 or 4 guys with more sacks this year than he gets.

Just remember. Jerry and Stephen wanted to pay him $70 million.

Only Gregory freaking out over a contract stipulation kept him from being here.

Lol. Another bitter ex-girlfriend thread for Gregory. Waiting for a poster to write, "By the way Randy, I faked my cheers for you when you were here. Not for the new guys though."
