27 years ago when Dallas was the SB Champs everyone got up to play them. Everyone brought their A-game when they played Dallas.

This is a litmus test for Dallas. Dallas should be up for this game and kick LAs butt. You have to beat the best in order to be the best.

I agree, these are the games that mean a lot, these are true measuring stick games. Cowboys need to come in ready to go because the Rams will be. I expect a hard fought game but in the end for Cowboys to get the respect they want these are the games they must step up and earn it.

More like a pinnacle loss. Rams are a team Dallas just can’t seem to beat. Like Tom Brady, they are a significant weakness for this team.

No mere speculation or research be needed. This team is toast come Sunday.

While I felt the same, I did just see that LA is ranked near last in rushing yard and yards per attempt which is the biggest weakness of our team.

Honestly, if we look at the matchups on paper and not the teams, there is zero reason Dallas should be a 4 point underdog.

I do always worry about hype games like this but at least strength to strength we should have the advantage on paper

I really hate that the 9ers curb stomped them. They will be playing desperate this Sunday.

Tbh they Rams not so good this year so far. We might be able to get them early on in the season.

Beating the Rams would do wonders for the team’s confidence. My fear is that the Cowboys buy into the talk about the Rams injury-plagued o-line and how their offense is comprised solely of Cooper Krupp; and Stafford not appearing too sharp so far this season; then of course the talk about the Cowboys defense.

The Cowboys need to set the tone both offensively and defensively; we need a total team effort. We can’t buy-in to our hype and expect our opponents to just fold…which is what we historically do in big games. We need sound coaching and a solid game plan; Sean McVay will have his guys ready to go…the question is will MM have us ready.

Sooo... the last game they played, the Rams beat Dallas 17-20.
Okay.
The game before that Dallas beat them 44-21 in 2019.

You sure about your post?

I mean really sure?

It would be a big win for the young team, but the Rams aren't all that scary.

Stafford is getting beat up. 16 sacks puts him only 1 away from being #1.
Leads the league in interceptions.
Perfect opportunity for the D to make a statement.

A little help from special teams sure couldn't hurt but if the O and D keep doing what they've been doing there is no reason they can't go in there and scratch out a win.

And if the Cowboys beat the Rams, it will be because the Rams are just not the same SB team as last year and have all those injuries on the OL and are a two man offense. That will be the media take on it. And of course Rush will not be credited tor the win. SOS...
I think the win will mean more for the team internally. The media will never give Dallas any credit.
