Only reason he signed with the Bucs was chasing a championship. After a couple weeks he realized they aren’t winning anything this season.
Bucs signed him because Evans was suspended and Godwin/Jones where both injured.

Now that all 3 are back he won't play much if at all (he's like 5th or 6th on the WR depth chart)

He was signed to Tampa’s practice squad and wasn’t used much in their first two games. He was only given an opportunity because of injuries to their receiving corp. He was probably going to be demoted anyway so he probably said the hell with it.
Yeah he was most likely going back to the practice squad

Beasley was my pet cat his rookie year. Loved his tape better than the guy they drafted 4th or 5th Round that year, Danny Coale. Coale got hurt and Cole stepped it up and got it done besides the "I'm gonna quit" drama. When Romo mentioned him in preseason game interview, I knew he made the team because he gained Romo's trust.

$50+m in his career and over 500 catches. Not too shabby for a little guy. Also had great instinct with all of the bull that the league was pushing on him. Good job Beese!

...I get the feeling Tampa wasn't right fit for him. Of course, he wont come out and say that.

He's too old now and was lucky Tampa picked him up.

I agree with Ranch, that Cole burnt bridges with Dallas going AWOL after signing.

Good luck to him.

He had a nice career for a guy with his size and skill set.

he needs to thank who ever it was who convinced him not to quit his first training camp cause he’s set for life now.

Sick burn!

He’s a total joke only being able to play 11 seasons n a sport where the average career is ~3-4 years.
I shook my head at how he left Dallas and did the same with how he left Buffalo. However he had a very good for anyone, even more so considering he was an undersized UDFA.

Not for nothing, but his drama may get him some interest post career if he wants to do a pod cast or something like that

only reason he signed with the bucs was because they were the only team to come calling after they lost practically every wr they had. after a couple of weeks everyone returned and he wasn't needed after his sterling 4 receptions for 17 yards.
