I hope Rush doesn't buy into his hype like other modern Cowboys

One of the biggest problems with the modern Dallas Cowboys (besides Jerry and Dak) is I've noticed a trend where players on the team begin acting celebrity just because they are a Cowboy. They buy into their hype despite winning nothing. Cooper Rush needs to avoid that at all cost. It's the one thing that could derail his play and I'm hoping he stays humble!!

He just said that the defense was the reason why they won. That's what I call humble. I'm not worried about Rush in that regard. He knows what he is capable of where his limits are. He seems to be a true professional and I am very thankful for that.

True, when you have a great defense you don't have to make every play, you just need to avoid mistakes that would put defense in poor field position. On drives where we are staying ahead of the chains we have found success and have managed to put up TD or FG.

Rush laughed off the QB controversy comments by Jerry and said defense is the reason they're winning.

Dude knows his role and does it well. He's about the last guy on the team I could see eating the cheese.

I don’t think anyone is buying the Rush hype train but it’s definitely validating people who have been saying Dak has been holding the offense from it’s true potential for years.

I get people saying that we don't need Dak when Rush has shown capable of winning, but how exactly is Rush and his meager numbers and ppg showing that Dak has been holding the offense back?

I love Rush was confident in him after the Vikings.
But even if we win the next 2 I don't think rush will come out unscathed so i wouldn't be too concerned about his ego

I haven't gotten that far down the road yet. I'm just hoping he has a good game and helps us beat the Rams.;)

Nah, I think the kid has genuine humility to his character. Unlike others on the team who self promote and believe they're something that they're not and don't back it up.

Humility is refreshing in this me first society we're living in.

Coop doesn't act like something he isnt.

Skip Bayless asked a question on whether or not Cooper Rush had the best 4 starts that any NFL QB ever had to their career. And I saw a graphic of Mike Greenburg saying how Rush should win the MVP so far for the season. Whether they are serious or just doing it for the clicks, there are for sure some in the media and fanbase who are buying into the Cooper Rush hype.

Yes Dak is holding the offense back and yet someone the offense is reaching it's full potential by Rush throwing one TD per game? Doesn't make much sense to me.

I would think given Cooper's history in the NFL he would know better than to buy into the hype.
This is a man that's been waived, on the street, out of the League and bounced around a little.
That will get/keep you grounded.
