Team game.

The possible caveat would be if Rush threw for 4-5 TDs and carried the team vs the Rams and Eagles each
But that that's a pipe dream

QBs do not have win streaks, teams do.

Rush played well but not enough to win the job (and I wanted him to).

Rush in every single scenario, simply because in your OP Dak wasn’t ready yet. Why would we play him before he is ready to play.

Also, why would anyone root for a Cowboys loss at this point in time?

Dak takes over and gets the team to 12-5 and they draw the 49ers in the playoffs. I want Rush to start because we've seen Dak in playoff games and it's ugly.

As long as fans have never seen Rush lose, going back to Dak is just going to stir up a bunch of noise this team does not need. Ride Rush until he flops.

I'm all for playing Rush as much as possible. The only difference is we've seen Dak throw for many yards in wins and losses so he can put up numbers, don't know if Rush can do that too but he probably can. But as long as the offense is playing like it has since rush took over i'd go with him. If the offense vs rams or iggles looks like that putrid offense led by Dak in week 1 yea I'd probably be in favor of a change.

*Depending on the win. If we win the same way we won the last 3 games - limited, conservative offense, ball control, and heavy defense, I take Dak. If Rush becomes a passing attack extraordinaire and shows he can do more than just take shots on 1st down Play Action passes, I may change my mind.

Now let's assume Dak comes back and plays 2 or 3 games in a row very similar to the TB game and then I think things get interesting. At that point it would not be ridiculous to consider plugging Rush back in.

*If 4) happens, it really doesn't matter, because then it's clear no QB on this team can elevate the team above the really good teams. I guess you might as well play Dak since you're overpaying for him.

this is as stupid as the ppl saying Teddy Bridgewater should have taken over for Drew Brees when he went 5-0 during Brees absence. Get a grip on reality ppl

Honestly, I know this is not necessarily an answer to the poll, but if this defense continues to stun the world, I say we go all in and trade for a good QB somewhere. I know it would take a load of picks but we may be able to land someone significantly better than Prescott could even dream of being. Just a slightly above average QB could take us all the way with this defense.

to answer the question: Rush for all scenarios.

I hope Rush continues to win till Dak returns. Rush is playing well enough to keep us in games but we need Dak healthy and playing if we want a shot at the tournament.
