We need to keep using that dump off to Elliot. Designed dump offs to either Elliot or Pollard. Keep them honest with the run plays even if they stack the box. And Peters needs to play this week. Could be a donald and Peters match up.

Just a good reference on what happens out there. Nothing more, nothing less.

*This isnt a Rush vs. Dak post, so don't make it one*

Great post. Love the breakdowns like this.
Some really good talk about Kellen's play design. If you coach youth or flag or whatever this is smart stuff you can use today.

Rush made a really good play on the roll out right and back of end zone pass.
That is a tool we hadn't seen from him before.

WAS really struggled with pass rush. The DAL OL didn't get much going in run blocking but handled the pass rush quite well.
WAS trying to send 5 then fall back into 4 with 1 guy dropping was pretty useless most of the day it seemed.

I erased my original post because I was worried it would drive us down that path, even though I'm fairly neutral.

Anyhow, that throw at 8:20 on while sprinting towards the sideline was incredible. He had a few absolutely beauties.

I like the way Rush is not afraid to throw the ball to where the receivers will be. It is hard not to be impressed with his play considering his history as a backup with very little game experience.

That is a good point and it does lend to why he reminds me of Garrett who came out of a timing-based system where you throw to spots.

Yeah he made some really great throws in the wash game, also some bad ones, but he is showing a lot of potential
for someone who has only played in 4 real nfl games. I would think he will get even better with more experience.

Cooper could end up as good as say Matt Moore at his best; that kind of ceiling I think is possible. The Dak boys go on about his supposed Noodle Arm but it is not that bad. Peyton Mannings arm was nearly dead and he had the best year of his career before it completely died. And he NEVER had a cannon. Arm strength is one of the most over rated factors in evaluating a QB. Just look at all the losers with cannon arms people gushed about
Jumongous, Jeff George, etc.
