Our offense has been below average, but still getting a lot of praise because of not turning the ball over. We definitely have a bus driver at QB.

But the only reason that’s been effective is because the penalties are down. Funny how quickly we forget that penalties killed this offense over and over again.

People used to complain about not running the ball more but penalties will do that to you. Stay on schedule and you can dictate run or pass. Get penalties and you’re forced to throw more.

Yes I noticed the dramatic drop in presnap penalties for Dallas after they had a slew of them in the opening day game against the Bucs.

Cooper just needs to be a bus driver, nothing wrong with that. He's thrown exactly one interception as a starter and I'm not sure that one was his fault because I think the ball got tipped.

The offense hasn't hurt itself with the pre-snap penalties the last 4 weeks. And we're also not turning the ball over much. I think there's been 1 fumble in 4 games but I could be wrong.

Yep running the ball successfully covers a multitude of sins.
And when you do pass having a guy who gets the ball out and doesn't force the offensive line to hold its blocks longer than necessary also avoids holding penalties.

He who hesitates is lost in the NFL

Have to give McCarthy some credit for this. The team is playing very disciplined football!

And I believe part of that discipline is sticking with the run.
Also have to give Cooper Rush some credit for being disciplined enough to not change the plays and stick with the run

Bro, the evil anti-Cowboys syndicate went on vacation for a few weeks. That's all. They'll be back and there'll be thread after thread about how the refs and Goodell are cheating us as an excuse for a loss.
