How much will Dak help?

Dak is on the level of Cousins and Carr. You can win with that level of QB play - they are borderline tier 2 players. Dak is certainly going to be an upgrade over Rush, whether that results in more Ws, there is a lot that factors into that.

If he looks like he did against TB, you'll get similar results to Rush on offense.

The key is going to be continuing to run the ball. Dak can win us a SB if we run the ball and play solid defence.

Dak wouldve had that game. But then again Kellen Moore wouldve blown iy.

I think we will run the ball as we have. However, I think Dak will help because, unlike Rush, he actually does use the middle of the field. Rush had a play where he had Gallup wide open in the middle, but threw to Lamb instead on the sidelines. He'd have had a massive gain with Gallup.

imagine running the ball like we have and then using some read option stuff. The eagles entire game plan consists of it. Who cares if dak isn’t seeing the field as well… play to his strengths. When he came into the league he was dynamite on the run.

Dak can still run… he just has to be smart when doing it.

Exactly, and having Dak can open some RPO options that we can't do with Rush.

I think this win streak will be a good wake up call for Dak and Kellen Moore.

They’ll reign in the throwing attempts and lean on the run game.

And when needed, Dak has the arm strength that Cooper Rush lacks

Im optimistic about the future if Dak plays within his means.
Cmon…..that sounded pathetic.

How this question is answered will determine the season.

Sticking to the blueprint of balanced run-pass playcalling, leaning on the dee, field position and special teams.

Some believe Dak is capable of staying within this winning framework to lead the team to success.

Others believe by his past history that he will continue to call out of too many run plays, struggle reading defenses and try and be something that he's not as a consistent, accurate, high volume drop back passer.

How Dak prioritizes team needs versus his personal ego is the key to how it all plays out.

Hopefully Dak standing on the sidelines for the past few weeks will help his game. Not a big Dak fan but we are pretty much stuck with him. I hope he comes back refreshed and plays his best football ever.. We will see.

I'm glad Dak will be back and love how this team responded under Rush. Most who cover this game know damn well Dak is a much better QB so yes I think Dak in the lineup gives Cowboys a big chance to win games.

Can this team score mid 20s per game at least?

They would have won the game with Dak behind center. Absolutely no doubt. Rush has no arm, no velocity. He has been very lucky up to now not to have interceptions.

The entire pace of the game would have been different without Rush.

Yep, good post. Getting over that biggest IF hurdle of ego.

Dak will be under a lot of pressure to make this offense go.

Problem is KM will still be calling plays.

Plus we don't have a single go-to receiver on the team.

I don't see this ending well.

The last time I got optimistic about Dak, he crapped the bed against the Jets, one of the worst teams in the NFL at the time. I never made that mistake again. He is what his scouting report says he is, and that hasn't changed at all going into year seven.

Is this a serious question? Dak makes us whole at THE most important position. He makes night and day difference.
