Have fans completely lost it?

I really have to ask. Have fans completely lost it or is this board being taken over by trolls?

Dak broke his thumb. Couldn't throw a football for many weeks. Missed 5 weeks of the season. Was still wearing a brace on his thumb. Comes back and, while rusty, plays a very " Cooper Rush" esque game and gets a win against a team coming off a bye.
Most people on this forum and in the media said... learn from Cooper. Keep this game plan when Dak comes back. Etc. Etc.
They do and all the haters come out.

Tyler Smith is balling out. He is a rookie starting at LT in the NFL. NOT AN EASY TASK. PFF (for what they're worth) has him ranked as the 6th best tackle in the league. IN THE LEAGUE!! I saw a post debating if he could play the position!!!!!!

These are just two examples. But, have "fans" lost it?

I have been saying the same thing. Either the "fans" are completely clueless or this board has been taken over by trolls. The board is becoming unreadable.

Haha, yes many have unrealistic expectations or have bias blinders on for certain players. Most unbiased fans that care about the team wanted Dak to come out and light it up, but even though that didn't happen there was nothing there that could make you too upset considering the circumstance.
The people who can only talk about the QB are generally the casual fans who aren't capable of understanding NFL football. Why waste your time w/ them?

It's like, when someone sees me wearing Cowboys stuff, they often want to strike up a convo. Mostly, it's to talk about TonyHomo and Dakpick. I simply smile and bow out. Why? Because you cannot talk to the QBers, the ones who don't know anything else. If you mention OL, OC, Defense, running game, interior disruption, anything like that, their eyes glass over and then they starting talking about the QB again. It's not worth it. Focusing on those convos will make you miserable.

And yet you blame every loss on the QB. Hmmmm……

Very few, if any, wanted Dak to come out and light it up. We wanted him to stick to the current winning formula of establishing the run and sticking with it, play great defense and special teams and win the games. That’s exactly what happened.
I was impressed w/ Dak for not trying to "light it up". Nice game, Dak.

Here’s an example of a fan going strictly by stats. Anyone watching the game knows the Lions did not play like the worst defense in the league. They don’t realize that this is the NFL. The talent margin is small and what it comes down to is heart and desire. The Lions brought it on Sunday.

Or maybe we just didn't play that well on offense?

Here’s an example of a fan who has to go by what happened the last 26 years to further his agenda. He’s not intelligent enough to know that every year is a different team and this years team has a chance to go deep if they stay healthy. Yet he refuses to accept that and craps on players and the team.
Here is an example of a fan who is so far up Jerry Jones bottom he is unable to think critically for himself. Thank you Mr Jerry is all he has.

This place has become very negative. You have cowboys fans so obsessed they need to be talking cowboys 365 so they run out of real conversations and start to fight. Then they become so entrenched in their opinion that they let it define them. They feed off the attention from it. To them they would rather fight than be ignored. So yes they have become trolls. This is their identity and way to talk about their obsession as much as possible.

They sit in their houses watching and cheering for Dak and Zeke.... they get to be themselves because no one is looking. They get to be a fan. Then they come here and start bashing and being snarky towards other fans. When we lose they get to unleash their angry on others.

Us humans are strange creatures. Try to interjection perspective into the conversation and you get to be called aa boot licker and not "passionate". Or they say you are the problem.... like anything any of us says has any impact on Jerry. These guys start to convince themselves they know it all and if they can just convince everyone else it will lead to change.... the change they want... its just weird.

I think Jerry is the reason for the last 27 years.

The simulation is neither moral or immoral...its profit seeking. Triggering = profiting.

Hope you made money today and are proud.

Aw yes i see you're a proponent of the eye test vs stats.

Lots of people argue about that here.

And the homers and haters on this site are both just as bad. It's about insulting others to them. They lie, claim stupid crapp, and all in all just don't get it.

Did you watch the game? If so do you think their defense played like the worst defense in the league?

I've said it for years. The Dallas Cowboys could win the Super Bowl and the same day there would be threads being critical of them because they didn't win by enough.
Roger Staubach in his prime would have been criticised here if it had existed back then. It is what it is...
