Geez ;) Do a lot of circular conversations? We were talking about this season, so far, Dak hasn't been "top 10" or even "top 5" like some of the homers have made him out to be. We are also talking about a dynamic week to week rating while you are talking about a static rating where Dak is always in the Top 10, no mater what. And just because it hurts your feelings that Dak is being ranked, because of his woes, that wouldn't stop a league wide ranking from happening. The ranking had Dak ranked as NR last week because of his injury. Only a homer would rank him #8 as soon as he comes back, but only had some questionable games so far this season. My opinion of Dak has gone up and down at various stages of his career. In 2016 I thought him and wentz were going to be the future big names in the league, but he doesn't fall in that Tier. Right now I don't think he is the future of the Dallas Cowboys, he isn't in his prime anymore and now he is getting injured a lot. I can be honest about my opinion of the guy. I don't hate Dak but then again at least I don't have a man crush either.
He’s not in his prime anymore?

It doesn’t matter what situation Trevor Lawrence is in he’s in his second season and still isn’t playing consistently. I’ve watched some of his games and he’s missing throws to wide open receivers. Troy Aikman was in a terrible situation when he arrived in Dallas but he still made a lot of great plays. Andrew Luck turned a terrible Colts team into a playoff contender in one season. You’re still caught up with the hype Trevor Lawrence had coming out of college. He hasn’t come close to living up to it. As for Russell Wilson it doesn’t matter that he has a championship ring that was years ago. LOL! He’s not the same player he was 8 years ago. ..get real! Everyone thought he would make Denver a championship contender and it hasn’t happened because he’s not the same player. This is why Seattle moved on from him. As for Dak he didn’t stink it up last week. He played very well in the second half leading us to a win. You need to try opening your eyes.
Dak has been in the league 6 1/2 years and is a failure and your building him up so who needs to open their eyes? LOLOLOLOLOL

I’m saying he’s better than the QBs you’re hyping up. No way would anyone take Russell Wilson over Dak. Dak even has a playoff win over Russell Wilson. Stop living in the past! Lol You don’t like Dak we get it!

I don't think he should be higher I know he should be.

Putting Dak at #22 is a complete and utter joke.

Some of those listed above him aren't close to being on Dak's level.

I guess some forgot that before his injury last year he was in the NFL MVP conversation.
And how did that work out at the end of the year? Beating up crap teams doesn’t do it, as for injury he had no problem against the scrubs the last game, must have been a miraculous healing for one game because he reverted his next game against the 49ers. You guys crack me up with this blurry Dak vision, looks like the injury excuse is in play all season again LOL.

If not an injury, there’s always a built in excuse.

I love our fanbase, but you’ve seen in this thread that nobody read the entire post. Skill, age and contract.

It's progress anyway. Quite a few around here had Dalton above Dak not too long ago.

Some probably still do.

What makes you think he should be higher? We're about to head into week 8 and he's only played 7 quarters so far. Rush should be on this list, not Dak.
If that’s the case. Rogers and Brady shouldn’t even be on the list

For a quarterback? I disagree. Some guys play their best football in their 30's.

For a quarterback, I think it is more that their knowledge for the game keeps expanding, but as for being in the physical peak condition that is another thing all together. Can Dak still run like he used to? Is there more concern of him getting injured than there used to be? It possible that he can still play smarter football, but I don't think you'll ever get the Dak back that was a running threat. He is two years removed from what Commentators often will say for quarterbacks, "He's on the wrong side of Thirty." You think we'll win a championship in the next two years before Dak is on the wrong side of thirty?
