OBJ was (I believe) the fastest WR to 200 catches ever in football. Also the fastest player to 3500 yards in the history of football.

I believe that also includes TO since he is part of that history. And OBJ did that with Eli Manning. So say what you want about OBJ but talent isn't something he lacked.
So am I to understand that signing OBJ comes with a time machine?

No. But saying he doesnt have talent is a ridiculous argument. If you want to intrude on other peoples messages. Look at what they are responding to first.

I’ve not been a fan of bringing him in, but starting to warm to it. One thing that can be said about OBJ is he doesn’t drop the darn ball. Speed is not a big part of his game anymore after the ACL, but he is a savvy receiver. My biggest pause at this point is just how healthy will he be this year since the injury occurred in the SB.

Really? Can he help us roll as much cap as possible over to next year? That's one aspect I'd love him to help in, because I don't want to sign him.
Well. Good thing you arent in control of things.

Stand pat and see what happens isnt a strategy of winning franchises.

Really? The only big time free agent the Patriots brought in on offense was Randy Moss. Ironically they never won Super Bowl with Randy Moss.
They won a lot of rings without gambling on guys like OBJ.

But continue on thinking you know what winning franchises do.

Interesting that you brought up the only franchise that had Tom Brady.

Tell me again. How did Tampa do? The rams? The Eagles? The Ravens? The Chiefs? Niners? Broncos? Hint...All of those teams took chances on free agents.

Sorry to also burst your bubble. The Pats havent been a winning franchise since Brady left.

Also. When is the last time the Cowboys went to an NFCCG? 27 years ago? Maybe its time to change strategies. Continue being condescending. Its fitting for you. Because obviously you know so much more than me about winning franchises.

Irvin is not a doctor. I would love OBJ in his prime to play for the Cowboys too, but we are talking about OBJ coming off his 2nd knee surgery on the same knee.

Since 2000 the Patriots have the same number of SB victories as all of those teams put together. So which winning franchise would you have us emulate? For me it'll be the Pats... who have notoriously built their offenses through the draft. But you want us to be like those non-dynasty teams you just mentioned.

Will he make the team better? Sure but how much better? To give him a multi year contract he needs to make them much better, I'm not sure after two torn ACL's he is even close to the same receiver everyone remembers.
Did he make rams better? Was about to get Super Bowl mvp possibly before injury. Beckham can play

Zeke on OBJ:

It was said several weeks ago that Beckham wants any prospective team to show him sone love and it looks clear to me like that’s EXACTLY what the Cowboys are doing.

All we need now is a sales pitch from Prescott.

"Odell is built to be in Dallas. He’s been wanting to play in Dallas for a long time. I believe (the Cowboys) do have the upper hand right now. It would be a great get if (Jerry) can get Odell. He would love to play for Dallas," Irvin said."

Interesting. I say do it. He can only help this team. In all aspects.
One of the ultimate NFL "Playmakers" recognizing one could help the Cowboys get a sixth league title.

How many do they have without Tom Brady?
