You have got to be kidding. What a complete moron.

I was worried that 5 mil might be too much.

He's having a 'larf. He could only got $4.75m last year when 'fit'....though I bet he'll claim he took less to play in LA.

It's the 'Early Bird', hoping there's some team desperate enough. That price will come down as teams (GB, Giants) drop out of serious play-off contention), Bills just dont have the appeal without Allen (and UCL's dont heal, and TJS will potentially see him lose a whole season).

I doubt the 49ers, due to their CAP and FA needs have the money to sign him beyond this year.

It's possibly down to us or Chiefs....I bet OBJ would love to play for Kansas, but they're already ranked no.1 in receiving, do they need him, or do they stick with the chemistry that's got them there? Maybe he's waiting for a last minute for an injury in Kansas, if one doesnt arise then take our offer.

I'm with you, something cheap (under $4m), especially if he's holding out until December and available for what 5 games (as opposed to 8 regular games for the Rams). .

Sounds reasonable from the player's perspective. 20 million will be prorated in 2022 - 4-5 million. Next year if he is healthy, he is definitely worth 20 million which is the going rate for upper tier WRs in free agency. Obviously the team and agent will have to account for his injury history when finalizing guaranteed money. That will be the sticking point in negotiations.

He's over 30 and now has had two knee surgeries. Heck no he's not worth it. Let some other foolish team like the Rams pay him.

We can't afford $20m in 2023.

Yep, so the Bills and possibly Chiefs/Giants would be, in effect, forced to offer a multi-year contract.

I don't know who CK is, but remember Leveon Bell? He ended up with a fraction of what he turned down.

OBJ just wants one last big payday. But that shouldn't surprise anyone.

i do remember him. I don’t remember if their were 6 teams minimum after him tho and I do know that a running back after the age of 27- 28 typically is done.

Really stupid of his agent. Some teams that might have thought about him will now walk away; and teams that really are thinking about him are now wondering if he is worth even discussing with such an dumb agent. Teams really do not want to deal with agents this stupid; and he is not a good enough player to make them do so/

Now of course all you need is one dumb GM to sign him for 10 mil or so to make the agent look halfway competent

Our fans are dumb. They don't understand how this works. Jerry and Co. love doing incentive laden/performance contingent contracts which I'm fine with.

Don't see us coughing up that kind of dough, folks.
Time to move on....
No team will. I think he is waiting for a season ending injury to a wide receiver on a playoff team. OBJ has no leverage now that is why he is unsigned. Jerry, the Cowboys and media are backing this overrated receiver to get him his money.:omg::facepalm:

He loves playing for the Rams and being in LA, but they wouldn't pay him what he wanted
