Don't look now, BUT...

there is a distinct possibility that all 4 teams in the NFC East could make the playoffs (1 division winner, plus the other 3 claiming all the wild card spots). I'm pretty sure that has never happened before (at least, not with 3 wild card teams)

In other news...Green Bay..3-6....LOL!
You’re right. Since the 7th seed or 3rd Wild Card was just added last year it hadn’t ever happened before.

Definitely possible but I look for 3rd WC to come from West, probably SF.

But we’ve only had a division with 2 WC teams before like last year in the West.

giants and commanders are not making the playoffs, with the way seahawks and the 49ers have been playing? heck even the bears can eek out more wins. giants have to play eagles twice, and cowboys again, 3 possible losses right there!

Well you know people told me around here quarterbacks make receivers better lol….yeah he definitely misses that Davante Adams guy lol.
And at times they do, hell, he made Adams better, but he ain’t gotta lot to work with this season. Can’t make diamonds from turds!

There's very little chance this happens.

All four teams? Anything‘s possible, but it is more likely that only two teams make it with the Giants falling off and the Commanders not even close

Doubtful. The 49ers will get on a roll once they figure out how to use CMC
I dont see it happening, but looking at the standings it isnt as ridiculous as it sounds. Had Washington not blown that lead yesterday it's probably a real point of discussion today. The Giants have a 3 game lead over the current 8th place team (Atlanta), and Washington is only a half game back of the 7th seed 49ers. Anyone in their right mind would take the 49ers over Washington, but looking at Washingtons schedule they have very winnable games against Atlanta, Houston, and Cleveland. If they can split with the Giants, and pull off an upset against a remaining team on the schedule (Philly, Dallas, 49ers (which would be huge)) that gets them to 9 wins, and while I think SF is the better team they have some winnable games, but dont see a true gimme on their schedule.
Stranger things have happened.
The biggest obstacle to 4-5 Washington getting the last playoff spot is the sheer number of teams in the same position as them, or just one game behind---
4-4__San Francisco
4-5__Tampa Bay, Atlanta
3-5__Los Angeles, New Orleans
3-6__Green Bay, Arizona, Chicago
These other eight teams have 8 or 9 games to play just like WAS.
Which ones will fade, struggle along one game above or below .500, or take off on a win streak?
I expect the Giants to get back to winning (home games v. Texans and Lions) before the Turkey Day game @'AT&T Stadium, so 9-2 or 8-3 records entering December put them and the Cowboys in the top two non-division title playoff spots.
The probability of the Commanders joining their division rivals in the posteseason are slim.
But there's still two months to go.

The one that gave up 29 points to the bears, and has let the last 3 times run for over 100 yards on us, with the bears clocking 200?

not sure if you don’t keep up with the NFL but the bears have clocked 200 in their last 5 games straight. They are the best running team in the league by far. And yep that same defense that leads the league in sacks and pressures

And? How is them not being able to stop the bears suppose make me think. Yes, this is the year where we stop losing to teams on the road that we should beat in November? If they win great, good job on doing what they should. If they lose I'm not gonna be surprised because this is what they always have done.

In 1998 the AFC East sent 4 teams to the playoffs. Division winner and 3 wildcard teams.

In 1997 and 1994, the NFC Central sent 4 teams to the playoffs.
