Why does Moore hate the run game?

Because the NFL is all about passing these days and if you want a HC gig you need to have those stats on your resume.

I’m starting to wonder how our cowboys fans fortune would have changed if one of those teams hired kellan Moore when his name was floating around for head coach. We may be having a different conversation about this team right now…..

This was discussed during the Rush games. Will they stick with a more conservative offense or try to air it out with Dak? We're seeing the answer, unfortunately.

How much of that is Moore and how much of it is Dak changing run calls to passes, I don't know. But the defense has gone from holding teams under 20 to allowing 60 points in the last two games. It looks too much like what we have seen come up short in the recent past. Get back to what was working, please.

Moore should have been shown the door when Garrett was fired…

He was too inexperienced, and had virtually no coaching resume... just like the previous OC/HC.

That's on Jerry again for not valuing coaches and getting the best in the world for this franchise rather than gambling on the "we like our guys" approach to the coaching staff with noobs who need at least 10 years learning the trade by coaching in high school, low college, major college, assistant NFL jobs, and then you find out if they are worth hiring.

Dallas was killing it in run game but yet Moore like to air it out. Face it Dak is a Jag qb. Moore thinks Dak is Marino. I guess money talks.

We need some balance you can’t just run the ball all day. Running the ball keeps your score down. We had 37 rushing attempts yesterday for over 150 yards and Pollard got 22 of those carries. We ran the ball plenty. You score points in the passing game and we have to put points on the board because our defense is starting to falter. We’ve given up an average of 30 points the past two games. The Packers were able to beat us with their running and passing game. They put up 21 points through the air.

The most showing play was the first INT after the strip fumble of Rodgers by Tank.

Why go there for the kill shot in the end zone?

In the middle of the traffick jam just begging for a turnover to happen, which did. Don't matter if Schultz's fault.

Why not play it safe there? Run it out and kick the FG, at least you get 3 on that possesion.

Dak called that? Moore? SMH McCarthy needs to step up and pull the leash on those guys.

Agreed. I would like to see McCarthy call plays.

We needed st least one score and more time off the clock in the 4th qtr to help our defense. We didnt get it done.

Its not how many plays or yards. Its the right plays at the right time.

I know zeke is tailing off....fine. but i still say he suffers from km "still learning on the job" play calling. Or daks if that is the case.

It's actually kinda tricky. Most teams do the bend don't break defense banking on the offense to screw up on that long drive. Most teams and QBs lack the consistency and efficiency required to successfully drive the length of the field and score touchdowns,,, Dak is one of those QBs. So it's all well and good that we can consistently get to third and short by running but if you're relying on Dak to convert 4 or 5 third downs on the drive you're going to be disappointed. And of course it's not just Dak, CeeDee is too inconsistent to rely on for third down as well. An elite defense would allow us to stick with the run and play field position but we don't have one of those either.

They are asking too much of Dak. He isnt elite you cant ask him to throw like hes a good Qb. Dumb it down like you did for Rush. Only way the Packers win yesterday is if they turn it over and they did it twice. Once in the redzone.
