How many contenders in the league dont have an ugly loss this year?

KC lost to Indy
SF lost to ATL, Chicago, and Denver
Philly just lost to Washington

Outside of Minnesota I cant think of any team that doesn't have a loss where the overall consensus was that they should win.

This is the NFL where you have to be ready to go week after week. If you want a dominant team that never loses go root for a powerhouse college program.

Only 5 teams in the league have a better record than the Cowboys right now, and one of those (Miami) is only a half game ahead since they havent had their bye yet. This is what the league is all about....you get knocked down now how do you respond? If you want to give up you are a fan of the wrong sport. Around this time last year many had LA (coming off 3 straight losses) and Cincinnati (7-6 before getting hot) both written off.
That is a dose of reality thunderpimp, way to serve up some reality.
Goodell had a dream and that dream has become reality.
There will be no true dominant teams in this league, the commish insists on it.

Honestly. What can you do after a loss like that? The cliches are wasted. The concert is over. The paint is faded. The dust has settled. What a shame honestly. The blueprint was there. We knew how to win games. T.O.P, 3rd down conversions, and first downs. Consistently top of the league in those categories. Now we just have no consistency. Just players that have games. And then disappear in big moments. No matter what the name. Prescott. Elliott. Pollard. Diggs. Parsons. Martin. No leadership. The franchise is done. We haven’t had a real MLB on this defense since Rolando McLain. Every other MLB has been soft. Yeah it’s been that long. But yeah we like our guys. Barry church said to many guys in this defense making business decisions. Diggs. Brown. No dogs on this team. Just city boys.

I'm impressed at your ability to fit over 30 sentences (loosely defined) into such a small area.

If we're being honest, we knew this team's limitations in August. But fans want to believe, so we'll see how it goes the rest of the season.

All talk and in the end a big egg........
With Minn, Giants, Titans, Colts, D.C. Eagles, and Jags in their house still a long way to go for the playoffs.
After what we've seen from this team unless Zeke and Mr. P our killing it there is no hope!

Yeah , there were guys freelancing all over this defense this week, I bet that gets fixed this week.
The offense needs a complete change of attack or we're screwed.

Oh heck the season isn't over yet we have not completed the trifecta of misery.

We're only a third of the way through with The hated Aaron Rodgers sticking the knife in our back up in the NFL's version of Siberia

Oh no we're not getting off that easy we've invited the Giants to town for Thanksgiving so Saquan Barkley can run all over us while we eat our Thanksgiving dinner.

Then on Christmas Eve we get to host another powerhouse running team in our nemesis the Eagles who just happened to hold the best record in football right now.

But not to fear The league will not want us to go belly up They need us for some ratings in the playoffs so I'm sure the referees will be kind enough to manipulate the outcome of one of these games in our favor.

That's all I got I'm so excited I can hardly stand it.

Oh wait I almost forgot at some point we will get Tyron back and Jerry will feel obligated to put him back at left tackle and ruin the one bright spot we have in the progress made by our rookie left tackle.

How in the world do the negative fans handle their real life

They might operate on the principle of failure to prepare is preparing to fail and do their best to keep their real life from falling into the negative.

Just maybe they're the kind of people that when they have a problem with something they dedicate some time to rectifying it.

Unlike our Cowboys who had a whole bye week to get their receivers on the same page with their quarterback,
Work on being able to stop the run. Concentrate on ball security and keep our penalties to a minimum knowing we are going to a very difficult place to get a win in.

The same people who you view as negative may just be a little frustrated that we went to Green Bay played a team that was on the ropes with a plan that consisted of throwing the dice against the wall and going for it on fourth down and hoping for the best

Season is far from over, but this team's warning flags are numerous and increasing weekly, as is the possibility that they are not one of the 3 best teams even in their own division.

This felt like the Broncos game last year. The Blueprint to expose the defense has been laid out! Just like Denver exposed the Cowboys offense
An overtime loss to Aaron Rodgers felt like a blowout loss to Teddy Bridgewater? Lmao y’all are so funny

On October 5, 1992, the Cowboys were obliterated by the Eagles 31-7. Nothing is over except for the weak.

Excellent example. I don't get the same vibe as i did last year when we lost to the Broncos. This year is different IMO. I still hold out hope, similar to what I had back in '92. I was sure we were beating them when they came to Dallas. I'm confident we do the same this year. But who knows? This year just feels a bit different.

After Vikings spank us this weekend and the Giants on Thanksgiving, we won't even sniff the wildcard.
Even if both of those things happen and Washington wins the next two weeks we are still tied in the loss column with them. The sky is falling crowd is a little premature here, most algorithms have the Cowboys playoff odds over 94%.
  • Two game lead over the 1st team out right now
  • 5-3 in the conference, so they are set up well for tie breakers....other than the H2H against Green Bay
Then just look at remaining schedules
  • Washington plays ATL & SF still
  • Washington plays Philly & NYG....both twice
  • NYG plays WASH & Philly.....both twice
Not including the Cowboys remaining NFCE games their will be 6 losses between the Giant/Commanders/Eagles

I doubt either happens, but it's more likely the Cowboys end up winning the division than missing out on the playoffs.

We have to play the Comancheros in their home stadium at the end of the year. Guess what will make them happy as they punt us out of the playoffs.
