I was wondering if Giants players were reaching out as much as the Cowboys. From what I tell from a couple of their boards, I don't think they are but we'll see. If you believe Shepard, the Giants have some work to do ( see red ).

Sterling Shepard: Odell Beckham would love to return to the Giants
Posted by Michael David Smith on November 23, 2022, 4:31 AM EST

“I talk to him every day, but we don’t talk about [his decision] too much,” Shepard said, via the New York Daily News. “Obviously he knows that we want him here. He would love to be here. But everything has to play out for that to happen. There’s a whole bunch of intangibles that have to play out for him to be here. And I understand that. This is a business, and his business has gotta be right for him to do it.”

Beckham is considering both the Giants and the Cowboys, who play each other on Thanksgiving. Shepard said beating the Cowboys could help, as Beckham wants to play for a contender.

I’m a fan of getting him but I’m not a fan of us having to “win” his services. Either sign or don’t I don’t know what this is about.
he probably wants to wait to see who is the best opportunity for a SB... I bet he signs after this game to whoever wins, maybe?

I understand that but he’s not that good to do this. Giants need him more than the Cowboys. Giants QB play is shotty. He’s using the Giants to get a bigger deal from Dallas IMO.

Aren't click-bait thread titles against the site rules? Asking for a friend.....

If its a super bowl he desires he should avoid both Dallas and NY. If he is really just after a pay day, he should strongly consider Dallas. Everyone knows how Jerry overpays.

As much as I'd like to sign him, I hope and pray Stephen and Jerry aren't bidding against themselves. This article clearly suggests the Giants are not all in and remember this started with approx 5 teams. My guess is he quickly dropped 3 off the list base on their offers ( structured or amount ). In other words, none of the three were willing to do a contract pass this season and/or pay more than he made last year with the Rams. So I wonder if the Giants and Cowboys are the only two teams coming close to meeting all his demands but from the tone of this article and the excessive recruiting we clearly the front-runner.

Yep, and look at the Giants next season with Barkley and Jones free agents. They are going to be able to afford all three.

If he picks the Giants he is the number one man. If he picks the Cowboys he’s one of the rest. I think he picks New York

Adding an often injured WR and often injured OL into lineup this late in season is a great idea. What could possibly go wrong?!?!

This is why I'm now 100% confident we are offering a long-term deal. Hell, may very be the only team offering one.

TBH I would rather take the money they would give OBJ and sign Pollard.

I have been saying don’t rule out the Giants, as he has a few in that building who he remains close with. Sheppard is his best friend.

I think the Cowboys competition is an AFC team. Either KC or Buffalo. Im not buying the "NY or Dallas" only talk. He's not going to NYG to play in a Daniel Jones offense or whoever they draft next year.

he got his ring. all he cares about is money, so if Giants throw more money at him, he will go there

Sorry but I’m not at all buying that Mara is having him back there after the way it ended last time.

The Rams, who presumably know him the best from a health point of view, continue to not offer what he wants. They aren’t exactly frugal.

Jerry may very well be bidding against himself and by no means should they commit to him for next year because of this one. It’s doubtful he is at full speed anyway.
