This kid is gonna be a good one. He has at least a 10-12 year career at pro bowl level play ahead of him. GREAT draft pick.
His footwork is on a different level than what you seen from him in college film
Power was a given but I college he got out of position, leading to penalties, really often
Seems like a kid that really takes to coaching and wants to be all he can be

I know its hard to compare, but how have the two guards that went ahead that we were linked to (Kenyon Green & Zion Johnson) been doing in their rookie seasons? And what about the tackles that went before him? Evan Neal had a bad game vs Tank but you can say Tyler Smith had one poor outing (for a few plays) vs Aaron Donald. But what about Penning, Cross, Ekwanu, etc? How have they compared to TS?

Edit: Googled it, this was a good, recent article about how the first rounders have done so far,

The entire line is playing pretty darn well. TB has improved significantly. Tyler & Terrence are next level powerful. Zack seem rejuvenated. CM can really sit down and anchor when needed & he seems to be the glue that can work with the guys next to him. Really gets to the next level well.

His hand placement and usage as well.

Indeed. That is what stands out to me. Much more consistent hands inside. He does go wide with hug technique when is slow off the snap or otherwise beat off the snap but even that is happening less and less.

I love watching the guys on this team improve as the season goes along. The OL, the TE, front 7, etc.

Did alot of preseason work with Duke Manyweather, probably the best positional trainer in the business.

So proud of this kid......hope we doing the right thing by moving him back to LG

It remains to be seen how well the transition will be with the insertion of Tyron at LT. I think it's a bad idea considering how well the unit is playing TOGETHER. At this point in the year, Tyron is your insurance at LT. Hitting he reset on a unit that works together on timing, instincts and communication is risky at best.
