Anyone watching or watched "Warrior Nun" season 2? I am watching it now and I am starting to get a little miffed at how contrived the story is this season.

This story had so much promise, but Ava has to grow up and into her role as Warrior Nun at some point. Why does the halo stop working just when Ava needs it? Also, she makes the worst Warrior. She seems to fall apart when she is needed most. Perhaps Lilith does deserve the halo more than Ava. I know they are trying to build up the suspense but this isn't the way to do it. The Warrior Nun should be fierce because she has he power of the halo.

Also, for the Ariel fanatics who assist him to pull off his "miracles", doesn't the idea that he needs their technology to make those miracles happen prove to them he is not really a divine being, or god? Maybe they are all possessed?

I have 2 episodes left to watch and already I can tell this season does not resolve anything. I am pretty certain we'll get a cliff hanger that might be resolved in season 3, if there is a season 3. Honestly, I am not sure this season is compelling enough to deserve another season.
The halo losing power gets explained.
She never asked to be the Warrior Nun. Don't forget, she spent most of her life sheltered, and her fighting skills are only what she's learned since accidentally acquiring the halo.
I love the show, personally, and I think there will be a season 3, at least I hope so.

I have watched the second season and enjoyed it.

The biggest disappointment for me was the absence of Shotgun Mary. I have not researched whether the actress was let go or what.

The season explained that all previous Warrior Nuns ran into the malfunctioning halo problem at some point. Lilith would have been confronted with the same issue eventually.

For me, Ava's status as an outsider, who did not have the luxury of years of training and discipline, makes for a more interesting character. Then again, I have a preference for superheroes who unwillingly assume the responsibility of the power granted to them.

Every one is possessed but they are willing servants. Basically, they have a cultist mentality, which accepts everything without question. Father Vincent was a follower but questioned Adriel authenticity hoping he would prove to be the real deal. He did not completely fool himself into believing Adriel was all-powerful, thus he was able to break his own self-fanaticism.

I liked the cliffhanger because I think it will resolve the malfunctioning halo issue.

Any White Lotus fans in here? I watched the 1st season one night then watched it again with my wife over a few days. Great scenery and wacky characters. Very good writing and great acapella Hawaiian music. Now we are watching season two and caught up. Season two is situated in Italy and again with beautiful scenery and crazy characters. I though my wifes family were a bunch of wackadoos but these characters make them look sane. Must watch series on HBO.

My wife and I watch it too. I like the type of humor in the show. I, too, an surprised by the beauty of Sicily. I always thought of it as a dry broken down island full of dead trees and ruins, ancient and modern. It actually looks like a great place for a vacation. Since my father's family were from Sicily, I am now slightly interested in paying the island a visit.

The ACTUAL season finale of Andor was absolutely fantastic! The story, the sets, the dialogue, the acting, the props, the direction...everything is great. It's pretty much everything Star Wars usually isn't. (Okay, the story and the sets are usually pretty good.)

Not sure if you saw it but everyone watching this show should wait until the ending credits have rolled. Or fast forward to their completion.

There is a cut scene.

It is worth watching.

I didn't! I thought about it, but decided they probably don't do that. I'll have to go check it out, thanks!

Wednesday, on Netflix. Mildly entertaining first episode. I like the girl who plays Wednesday, she does a great job. Catherine Zeta Jones as Morticia is okay. Definitely do not like the choice of Luis Guzman as Gomez. There was one gag in the episode that made me burst out laughing, but the rest, as I said, so far is just mildly entertaining.

Tulsa King on Paramount+ : A different role for Stallone, and I like it! Just about to start episode 2, so I haven't made up my mind yet, but it's looking good.

I thought the previews looked kind of dumb but was bored so decided to watch the first 2 episodes and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to seeing how the rest of the season unfolds.

Hard to believe Stallone is 74.

I started rewatching Andor based off the feedback on this thread. The show really picked up for me after the first couple of episodes. I’m very much into it now. Look forward to finishing it maybe this weekend.
