At this point in our season, are we more physical than last year?

So much talk of potential playoffs by fans and the media. Heading into the playoffs if we're fortunate to make it, are we strong enough mentally and physically to beat playoff teams. Or will we again show the world that we're not??

I think last season was a good eye opener. We know what happened, we have a lot of guys from last year's team still here. They shouldn't need anything to get them ready for the game, should come from within! Please give your thoughts

Short answer is yes. But not enough improvement to keep the 49ers or Eagles from ramming the ball down our throats IMO
Not if we go heavy heavy on run downs
Bohanna and the new FA Haskins...at the same time
OSA, 3 tech so so
Pass rush....DE are doing ok

Tyler helps bigtime. As does actually giving Pollard 10+ carries a game.

Maybe minimally. I don't really see much personnel wise that would make them that much more physical. The OL is basically the same. Tyler is probably more physical than Tyron. Defensively it's the same guys. Same dog crap DTs.

I hope you are right. The evidence that the Cowboys have fixed the run D (Vikings who were not committed to establishing the run even though they were having 1st quarter success) and the Giants (with 4 of their starting OL down) seems sketchy at best.

So no, I'm not convinced the Cowboys run D is anywhere good enough to stop the 49ers or Eagles running game. Sorry.

Still soft imho. Packers ran them down, so did Chicago. That's why I like the upcoming games Dallas has to play against some less talented, yet physical teams. We should truly know before the Playoffs start.

We are never mentioned as a physical team like SF is.

I still see them as a more finesse athletic group than a brute force and power team.

They possess some power run game elements to their offense but never seem to embrace it or consistently use it.

On defense it's a bunch of fast pass rushers with decent cover guys that are still susceptible to being trucked over by a physically dominant line and smashmouth mindset.
