Im so happy for this kid. In college I thought for sure he was going high. He was all over the field. Our future lb core is bright.

I understand some who are cautious to "crown" him too soon, but give the kid some time. He just played in what? Like his 4th ever NFL game? When Risen is saying this is his training camp, well, it pretty much is. This is the kind of player you'll want to start catching on about playoffs time.

Sure, I applaud the dude for making it back on the field and overcoming such a big injury.

That doesn’t change his actual performance. I’m happy for him, but again, he hasn’t been a difference maker yet.
Not in overall dominant play, no. I didn't expect it yet but I do expect it soon.

The plays that people don't really notice are the plays where he takes away the flat pass to the Back or TE. Those have traditionally KILLED us. He routinely takes them away with his amazing acceleration and speed.

He has been good in playing the run too. I expect we will start to see more tackles for loss here in the next couple of games...assuming they keep playing him.

Yea, he appears to be doing his job and isn’t bad which is great.

I’m just not ready to says he’s a game changer / difference maker because he’s not…hoping he can turn into that guy.

It's RisenStew. The only dish he serves.

Don't try to parse the 'meat' from what other strange things you might find on the plate. No way to tell what is what.

Some folks actually swallow it down.
And Like it.

Spy Hurts, Rodgers, etc

Glad we have Clark and Cox and can officially move on from the wolf guy and Broken Barr ASAP.

McCarthy puffing up another player. Parcells would hang a mouse trap in front of his locker.

It's a puff piece. How original.

So many of us are very excited in what we see in Clark, Williams and Bland. All three of them have flashed in one capacity or another.
I'm am patiently waiting for these guys to come up big in clutch situations in BIG games. So far, we have seen Bland get a pick versus Washington; Williams steal Detroit's lunch money; and Clark run down Fields in his first NFL game.

Those plays are big - but there are more significant games coming (regular & post season). TFLs, strip sacks, & scoop and scores are hopefully in these guys future (maybe a pick-6). I'm thinking about how young players like what James Washington, Jimmie Jones, Tony Tolbert, and Ken Norton Jr. did to help out Charles Haley and the triplets 30 years ago.

If Dallas is to reach the pinnacle of Pro Football, the young pups are going to have to bite.

Clark is a natural heat seeking missile. When you look at him beside LVE, there is a complete contrast. Accentuates how slow, robotic and passive LVE is. One makes $3m and the other just under $1m.....guess who makes what?

He was drafted where Jaylon should of been drafted... I'm encouraged by his progress..

I expect Clark to be a straight up beast next year.
His speed is what has amazed me. His 40 time wasn’t anything special but his playing speed is amazing. As he gets more reps he will learn to read plays even better too
He has the potential to be a really good player

A LBr running in the 4.5s around 240LBs is unreal. That’s like, high high end fast for the position at his size.

But his actual playing speed is much, much faster than his timed speed
He ran a 4.57
In a game he reached 22.19 mph
That is really fast
Hill has the fastest speed in game at 23.24

Of course, I’m just acknowledging his 40 time is well above average…not just normal.

I agree
He is an off the charts athlete but his 4.57 is not an off the chart 40 where is actual game speed is super fast
And less than 1 mph behind Hill
That’s faster than Micah
When he gets more experience and learns to read plays better he’s gonna be a beast. The reps he gets this year along with a NFL off season and training camp is gonna do wonders for him
