Wade was all about being back in Texas coaching again after Jerry hired him and I don't think other teams would be fond of Jerry talking to their defensive coordinator.
If they were more than business acquaintances back in 2007 I don't think it would have taken Jerry so long to actually hire Wade.

I watched the fight.
Almost disgusting how often the audience was reminded that it was "Jerry Jones' Dallas Cowboys Stadium".
Seriously, I think that must have been a part of the contract to have the fight in that stadium.
The quota on Jerry's name had to be over 20. Before and after each fight. At each video promo. Jerry or Dallas Cowboys Stadium was everwhere.
I haven't seen so much promotion in a sporting event since I quit watching the WWE.
