Wow. I wonder how badly this board would be exploding if that were the Cowboys losing to a 7-9 team.

To be fair, every time Seattle needed it's defense to step up they made a stop. Would have killed to have our defense to play with that type of tenacity a few times this season.
Seattle's defense didn't step up. They gave up 474 and 36 points. Their defense like very much like ours has.

Pete is the coach we should have hired...
I don't think so. He makes a lot of bonehead decisions.

Like running the ball instead of kneeling on 1st down with 1:29 left in the game, and the other team with only one timeout.

And could you imagine if it were Jenkins who got slapped silly trying to tackle Lynch?

Well, considering that a 7-9 team would be a team with a better record, it would have been a normal los....

that was awesome, the Hawks are my second team being how I live up here and my wife and her family are fans. Qwest when rocking is a hard place to play, the Saints did not think it would be a big factor but it's a huge thing. Hell even the local papers did not give the home team a chance :lmao2: I love this win

Yeah I dont know what that was all about.

But I love his emotion. Players feed off of that. He would be fun to play for.

it just shows you how important safety play is. Earl Thomas was beasting out there. Saints were missing Malcolm Jenkins and it showed. Roman Harper got abused.

They stepped up on the goal line, 2 point conversion, possession deep in New Orleans side of the field.

The overall numbers were atrocious, but they DID have players that stepped up and made plays in critical situations.

Just further proof that you gotta have at least some form of defense to actually win in this league.

I wonder if Payton wants any of his salary back.

LOL at the Saints.

So happy the Seahawks won. I've sort of hated them since the Romo fumble, but the Saints are on a whole nother level of despised.

I just disagree on this. Giving up 36 points usually means a loss most of the time fortunately the Seahawks scored 41 points. Their D did just enough but to sit here and say their D was the reason they won this game would be incorrect.

It seems fundamentally wrong that the Seahawks got to host that game.

I don't like either team either.

I was at our Shreveport office the last couple of days...

They were RELENTLESSLY giving me grief about the Cowboys not making the playoffs...

I told them to be careful as the Saints may very well lose this game as Seattle is a tough venue to play in...

I got laughed at. I took the Seahawks... and now none of them will answer my email... :D
