Probably not, we just have a beastly offense that finally got on gear when JG took over. Maybe the bears cutler is trash lol.

Had Jon been the backup QB for the Bears, last Sunday could have easily been a different story

Good point.

Well maybe not anymore but then again they're willing to bring back Alex Smith so i guess you can say Kitna and be safe lol

They are? If they are then what the hell is wrong with them? Smith is a bust in every sense of the word.

I would add San Francisco and Cincinnati if Palmer is traded/ retires.

I think he could start if a team was trying to buy time for a young QB who is not quite ready to step in and take over. A guy like Kitna would be great in that situation as a starter and mentor.

Of course he could start for some teams, but the point is nobody wants a 39 year old QB. Every team is going to do every thing they can to find a possible long term solution 1st.

Given his superior leadership and his inherent "clutch-gene" I think you would have to say he could start for Dallas over un-clutch-follower Tony Romo.

ROFL Superpunk. I hope somebody takes that bait, I really do.

As for the OP, if you're wondering if Kitna will try to go start somewhere, he said earlier this year that he knows at his age the only teams interested would not be contenders and he just wants to try to win a super bowl, so he wants to stay in Dallas where he thinks the team has a chance to do that.

Kitna didn't play any better in his first game this season than the third stringer did. Collins was even worse of course.
