Wow, yet you proclaim to still be a Cowboy fan? Why torment yourself? It would seem that you are just as stupid as you say Jerry is for sticking around.

Now that is the definition idiocy.

I know that if I don't like something for whatever reason, I leave it alone, I don't stick around moaning about something I have no control over. That is, unless you are renting that Billboard!

It's stupid for a fan of a team to remain a fan when he feels his team has no shot to win it all?

I'd call that being a real fan. It would mean success has nothing to do with his loyalty.

If anything, he is showing his true passion and devotion for his beloved football team. He is a fan of the Cowboys and wants the best for the team. He doesn't have to love everything about Rowdy, Campo, or Jerry to be a fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

He's no different from the fans here who wanted Hutchinson or Drew Henson to be the future of the Cowboys. They had no control over that.

This wasn't directed at me but led me interject anyway. This is always someone's fall back when they have nothing of any substance to offer. people have been Cowboys fans a long, long time. They'll be a Cowboys fan long after Jerry is gone, Lord willing. It doesn't matter if QC, Hutch or Romo is the QB. We'll still be fans and rooting for the team to win regardless. But that doesn't mean we have to be happy with what we see on the field or the direction of our team and don't think we can do much better.

If you feel like leaving when or not sticking around when they do something you don't like, then I question your fanhood.

No, if find it stupid to groan about something that you cannot change. What good does it do except to make someone think they know all the workings at VR?

Do you like liver with peanut butter? If you say no, do you eat it anyway?

Nobody on this board or any other for that matter knows what actually goes on, they just think they do. If the ones that think they do, they should be in the NFL, don't you think?

Because I was a Cowboys fan before he bought the team and will be when he is finally gone. My loyalty is not to him. Even when things got tough in the 1980s, I trusted that eventually the franchise would turn around because I trusted those making the decisions. I do not have the same hope now because we are rudderless and prone to misevaluation of the talent and the direction of the organization.

It would seem that you are just as stupid as you say Jerry is for sticking around.
The only ones who are stupid are the gullible imbeciles who either buy the nonsense doled out every year or delude themselves into thinking what Jones has been doing for the last sixteen years is close to anything he was fortunate enough to enjoy when we last won something that mattered.

I know that if I don't like something for whatever reason, I leave it alone, I don't stick around moaning about something I have no control over.

So that means you like the garbage you are being fed. To each their own.

Got it...

So, you like being unhappy with something you cannot change? Sounds like a crybaby to me that's all.

Like I said, if something bothers me as much as it does with people like you, Hell, I would find something else to do, that is...unless I can actually make a difference, which YOU or others cannot do!

Have a miserable day hating something you say you like...that makes sense.

What if I told you I got fired from my front office NFL job for eating liver with my peanut butter in the breakroom?

Completely agree and your posts reflect my sentiments exactly.

Not really, no.

I've read this response too many times to count over the years. I still don't understand the logic behind, if you can't change it....don't complain about it.

Of course I know it simply comes from fans who can't deal with constructive criticism, but right now I'm pretending you're actually trying to make a point.

Nobody reading this can change a thing about this team. I suppose we all need to call it a posting career and find another hobby. All these offseason plans and upgrades. These people need to get a life.

Uh, sorry to break it to you, but apparently you do to! The difference is, I don't moan and groan about something I cannot change, while you just cry and whine every chance you get.

Do something about it if you don't like it, don't just wait until Jerry dies...that seems kind of cowardly.

Have a miserable day, bro, I'm sure that makes you happy.

I would file a complaint. Was it Jerry that fired you?

(damn weasel)! File a complaint, bro...

And you have a great day liking something you hate. And if you don't dislike what this team has been putting on the field and 16 years of mediocrity, then have at it.

Well if this bothers you, Hell, go find something else to do! You're not making a defference.

Show me a post where I've said I hated something. You and others are the ones that are doing that!

What he really means is "Don't bring the rest of us self-deluding homers down with your facts, rationality, objectivity, honesty, and inconvenient truths." Cognitive dissonance forevah!

And you are?

All you are doing is crying and making yourself miserable. As for me, I just wait it out and see what goes on next time because I know that anything I ***** about is not going to make a difference, so why cry about it.

I've been a Cowboy fan since their beginning...so I've seen worse, a lot worse.

Yeah, that's what I mean... Didn't know you were a mind reader, also?

Dude, you are the Granddaddy of Crybabies around here...the biggest one for that matter!

What I mean is, it is pointless to ***** and moan about something you cannot change. That is my point. Your point and other's point's are on top of your little heads.

You don't care if we're "miserable." You care very much if we're making you miserable, and that's really what your whine-a-thon is all about. The homers want this forum to be one big "hope and optimism" echo chamber with no realists around to harsh their mellow. Sorry, but that's not how it works. If we have to put up with "Shilling 101: Running Interference for Jerry" threads, then you have to put up with the dissenters.
