I like the way Nathan recovered today. He didn't allow a run, which is the most important thing.

Good win for the Rangers. Minnesota's is a better team then their record indicates (2-6).

Darvish looked decent today. I got worried once his pitch count crept over 90. Hell of a play though to prevent a run in the early innings with a tagout at home. SC top 10 play I am sure.

Darvish was better. He's still having control issues though. I'd imagine he'll get that worked out as he goes along.

Mitch "Wild Thing" Williams made a good point today. Closers can't worry about who is standing on the square bases, just keeping them from getting across the one with five corners. Nathan did that today. Good on him. Hope this gives him more confidence moving forward.

CJ kick the crap out of the Yankees today.

'Never said he wasn't a bad pitcher, but let's be real, kicking the crap out of the Yankees ten games into the season isn't the same as beating them in the playoffs, which he struggled mightily at

I thing Darvish is still captivated/nervous by the big stage...

He's doing OK, but he is known for ball movement... as the weather gets warmer he's going to have some nasty pitches in his pocket...

When you watch his videos, the movement on his pitches is phenomenal... he'll get that back... in the mean time he is hitting a few batters... not a bad thing as they will be scared coming to the plate...

Holy ****, Hamilton just hit one into another zip code.

Napoli did the same. It looked like a golf ball leaving the bat. Well the Rangers seem to be in playoff form. Haha. Nathan had a 1-2-3 9th and Rangers win again.

Not bad Nathan. Now he needs to show that stuff at home.

As for CJ, it's no surprise he is lights out right now. I fully expect him to be dominant all year long - he will thrive as the #4 pitcher. Perfect role for him

Jeez. The Rangers are lights out this year.

I'd say it's the best Rangers team they've ever fielded.

Good times. The team looks really really good. Maybe I can get to go to another Rangers playoff game this year.

Yeah. Today Miiny had that game in control and then in the 8th...boom, boom!
That was a massive shot by Josh.
Rangers win.

8-2 record, best in the Majors at this early juncture.

Dodgers are 9-1, but yes this team looks very formidable.

The crazy thing is that Texas SHOULD be 10-0. Both of their losses were late inning multiple run blown leads.

With the Angels currently losing to the Yankees again tonight and in danger of their sixth loss already, it seems like this could get out of hand in a hurry. If the Rangers pitching keeps up like it has they could run away with the A.L. West this season, because the Angels look like they have enough new peieces that it will take them awhile to get together and Texas could quickly have a double digit division lead on them.

Not to get too ahead of ourselves but I'm not sure winning 100 games is out of the question.
