Is guarantee an option?

I'm kind of betting that someone brash from one of the teams says something to that effect as the hype reaches a feverish pitch later in the week. Maybe Dez or Deangelo, they would be my most likely guesses lol

i have little hope of winning..

the defense is historically bad at this point.

That's sad, bro. Although I'm not sure if they win, I will never lose hope.

Hope. Our defense scares me. :(

Right back at you...

But, as rag tag as the defense is, they almost beat NO with Scarface passing for 1200 yards...

Aside from some earlier games where the Cowboys got manhandled, they have stayed with the best of them until the end, and winning some of them.

But RG3 is "special"....he's the best in the business, he knows how to win, he walks on water, but has water on the knee. So, RG3 is not Brees in now way shape or form!

Let him run around, it's just a matter of time.

The good thing going for the Cowboys is that they've been playing well lately, the offense is clicking - at least the passing game - and they're the underdogs. I think most people expect the Commanders to win.

I just hope Ware is able to play.

On the Official site it says that he is playing.

Hope. I didn't expect the Cowboys to beat the Giants in the season finale last season, and sure enough, they lost. I don't think the Commanders are as formidable as the Giants of last season, but it's a similar situation.

Expect - Washington has injuries too, a lot of them. So we're even.

This is being overlooked by our fans. Their secondary is in worst shape than ours with injuries. They just lost another safety on Sunday. If our OL can block up the pressure, we have a distinct advantage in the passing game. Even more so if Murray can give us a respectable running game.

We must limit turnovers first and foremost. The Skins used two 2nd quarter turnovers in our territory to spur their 28 point 2nd quarter explosion which was the difference in the game.

Could be one of those game where last team with the ball scores and wins.

the consensus in Commanders nation is that it will probably come down to the wire. Normal NFCE regular season games are crazy and unexpected. You throw in the division title and a playoff spot hanging in the balance, and all bets...and I mean, ALL BETS, are off.

I feel like our offense should put up some points on your D, and vice versa. It'll come down to which team makes the plays in the 4th quarter.

Should be one hell of a game.

Good post...

And, the Giants had come down to Dallas and win the game.

Now, the Cowboys have to go to DC on a road game for all the marbles. The Giants went on to win the Superbowl because of that game.

True, we, could definitely beat this team, but if we come out the same way we have all year, slow, without any energy or urgency, we will fall behind. If we would ever come back attacking, this offense would be extremely dangerous. But sadly, it won't happen. Garrett won't attack until it's desperation time.

Frankly I believe the Cowboys play better on the road then they do at home. On the other hand, Shanahan is a much better HC then is Garrett, who still is a work in progress--to say the least. Also the Cowboys make too many dumb mistakes & then we have all those injries. Odds say Skins win but I'm desperately hoping the Cowboys pull it out.

OTOH, if we win it will allow Jerry to rationalize how good this team is; while a lose would leaves us out of the playoffs for the 2nd straight year. And Ware, Ratliff, Witten & Romo aren't getting any younger. Ratliff will be gone after this year & Ware may not be able to overcome his injuries and return in 2013 to the form he played at 1-2 years ago. Witten is still darn good & Romo is great. Frankly why would Romo want to remain with the Cowboys? You gotta know he desperately wants a SB win but what chance while Jerry continues to run the show. If I'm Romo, I'd only sign a contract extension for 1 year but demand it include a clause that the Cowboys cannot franchise him or trade him w/o his consent, etc. Doubt Romo would do that because of his loyalty to Jerry and his teammates though.
