any of you know if Google is going to come out with a Nexus 10 with 4G? I need a tablet that can connect to the internet without wifi for daily train rides.

The Nexus 7 is just about everything I'm looking for. The Nexus 10 with 4G would be perfect though.

I'd imagine the Nexus 10 will eventually get 4G.

They currently have Nexus 7's with 4G though.

That's what I figured. I just don't know the product timeline for android devices and haven't really followed any news about them. A google search didn't really garner much information either.

I was actually about to buy the Nexus 7 but the specs for the 10 are so much better. It just doesn't have 4G :( I'm stuck, again when it comes to purchasing a tablet.

You'll love the Nexus 7.

Didn't know that. Thanks. Do you know how often new or updated tablets come out for google? I guess there's really not much to go by right?

Would you consider tethering it to your mobile for these train trips, might be worth considering as an interim solution if you want a Nexus 10 now.

Not an option. I don't want AT&T to kick me off my unlimited plan.

Is this not permitted with your carrier?

Not with unlimited plans. People were taking advantage of it and ruined it. That's why they did away with the unlimited plans. If you get caught tethering which apparently is very easy for the carriers to find out they switch your plan. I'm riding this unlimited plan out for as long as possible.

No sir, given their phone cycle it should be yearly

If you have an LTE data contract that is illegal for them to block tethering. It violates C-block rules that are in place. Its why ATT got into trouble with blocking facetime on the iphone 5 and people using their LTE plans

I definitely have LTE when I'm working in manhattan and on my way out of manhattan. But at home for the majority of my train ride its 4G. Ill have to look into this but from what I've researched it's a no go.
