I have to agree, great play by the LB. 99 percent of the time, noone makes that play. Fingertip interception by a LB. My question is why do they not run the ball on first down. The boys controlled their fate. The sack was a killer. It put the offense in a very tough situation.

The bottom line is, that was an AMAZING play for that INT.

Of course. It's never his fault.

just like you will claim he never does anything. a 151 passer rating. I wonder how many QBs have ever been on the losing side with a rating like that. BUT you would rather see the Boys lose then Romo be the hero

Just watched the replay of Romo's pick since it looked so awkward. After replay, here it is: While in the throwing motion Romo was first tripped by Smith, then short arm jammed by Fred. Not an excuse, but it's hard to throw when two of your own linemen are hitting you when you are in the middle of a throwing motion.

All I know is that it was a 3 man rush. No excuse for pressure that quickly.

He should have checked it down for Murray, gained 8 yards and lived to play another down.

I watched that play over and over. Romo should never have thrown that ball. That's true. We didn't run the ball nearly enough, that's also true. Romo did step on his OL's foot and that didn't help the throw, that's true. Escobar didn't run a great route, he didn't break off his cut flat and flash like he should have. He drifted a few yards and that allowed the LB to get under the ball, that's true. Romo outplayed Manning but he is going to get raked, that's true. Romo had Murray wide open and in his field of vision and never looked at him. All these things are true.

At the end of the day, it doesn't matter. Wins are what it's about. Not yards or anything else. The Cowboys didn't get it done today. The Broncos did.

That's the entire truth of this situation.

Not the truth, unless you are talking about Fred's foot that Romo stepped on after getting tripped by Smith while in the throwing motion.

After the sack they needed a lot of yards for a first down. A punt would've lost the game too.

Of course I am talking about that. What else would I be talking about?

I'm proud of Romo regardless, with our NO-Defense we shouldn't have even been in that game. It just sucks cause he was going to silently-kill the media & now that INT will overshadow Romo's complete performance. Well at least the dog-collar will be off of Romo going deep for the rest of the season..''I hope"

I'm OK with the loss, I kind of expected it. What bugs me is how hard Romo had to work to make plays, 5TDs, 500+yds...and it's not enough, not with this defense.

The blocking was superb until the last drive. Go figure. Romo doesn't need anyone to make excuses for him, but damn why give up a sack and allow defenders into the backfield on the biggest drive of all?

That's what even average defenses do , when the game winning drive is on the line. Surely they are not going to let us walk in to get the field goal and win, sack on 1st down . And 2nd and 16 so he tried to make a play.

Why did the HC and OC decide to open up that series in an obvious passing formation? Romo should have never been put in that situation to begin with. They should have been running the ball in that situation (starting on 1st down).
