If you have kids, it'd be worth watching. Basically, CPS does what they want to who they want, and especially if you stand up to them. They'll drug your kids, put them in abusive environments, abuse them, lie, commit fraud, etc. It really is worth watching. And, I can attest from experience, he's telling the truth.

Here are the type of people we are dealing with. This video is even more appalling than the first. It pains me what this dad is going through, because the woman reminds me of the fat lady who killed my daughter. But for most, this would be hilarious. This [lady] lectures the dad on his daughter's nutrition.

This is my friend, an attorney, deposing the CPS director in his county. AKA picking the wings off of flies.

If you don't believe me about the funding, watch this.

Finally, if you really want to learn about what CPS does, watch this testimony. It's long, but you'll never believe what you hear.

And having to spend $200,000 - almost a quarter of a million dollars - of your own money to try to "win" back your kid(s) in front of a judge? Crazy. Just crazy.

CPS is another of those "I think this will be a good idea to protect children" situations that mutated and became a real cancer. They leave kids with those they shouldn't and take kids when they shouldn't. All too often all over the country.

Would be interesting to have a comprehensive survey and see just how often they have failed versus the number of times they have been right. Sadly i bet the first group is bigger then the second.

First video, pretty much talks about extreme cases. Essentially trying to use scare tactics, that the government is trying to take everyone's kids. 100% political, IMO. Sounds like he is pro-weed.

Second video, sounds like a divorced father who has joint custody of his daughter, where the mother is giving the daughter an anti-psychotic, and the father has no idea. Daughter was dancing, said he heart hurt, and father was trying to figure out what is going on. CPS worker is trying to bully him into saying things he did not say, he should of had a lawyer with him, not just filming what is going on.

Third video, I do not really know what context he is speaking of. Random clip about a baseline of money being used, and if they have fewer kids going through the system, the baseline of money is decreased the next year.

Forth video, not even gonna try to sit through 4hrs.

The guy in the first video is an absolute nut job. Basically, every state worker is incompetent. Why? Because, they're state workers, of course......

Ok, yes there are bad cases and case workers but the real stories are the ones you don't hear about in the news, like how my wife works 14hrs a day with no OT pay, or how she has to go into very hostile places with NO protection (meth houses, coke houses, sexual predators houses, etc.) Sometimes she is able to get a police escort but not all the time. How about the $100K for the MSW that pays out at $45K a year and she left a $80K a year federal job to do it.

Best for last, she worked a case that took nearly 1 year to get some kids out of house because it takes a long time and a lot of court hearings to remove kids permanently

Finally got them out of a VERY BAD (rape, dog kennels, and more then you want to know) situation, 6 months later the dad was in San Fran shooting at random houses, cars and people when the police finally shot and killed him. His wife the kids mom, still has not been seen/found FYI

Point of this is, she does it because she is making a difference, she has worked with lots of parents and most of them ask for her when they get in trouble again, because they know she is hard (former military and military wife and military brat) but very fair and will give each of them 100%.

So please make sure you have a lot more facts, I have issues with CPS as well and dealing with less then great workers ( Battling an x-wife that was worthless I think in part that is wife my wife wanted in the field)

I have met a few people that worked for CPS and their experiences are very similar to what erickb describes.

I didn't watch the whole thing but it makes me angry that the morbidly obese CPS worker is lecturing this dad on nutrition and his daughter's weight. She's just making stuff up as she speaks and the dad actually has facts to throw back in her face. Also, if her BMI is > 99th percentile then the mother must be feeding her even worse.

Sorry to hear about that. Was it a CPS worker?

Ben is so passionate about this because he's had similar experiences with CPS. He, too, lost a child.

He's very active trying to prevent similar tragedies.
