If you use the generator you should have confidence.

The biggest indicator should be winning %.
In that vein Dallas goes 10-6 and wins the NFCE over a 10-6 Eagles squad.

If you go home teams winning, Dallas is in as a 4 seed again.
If you go based on last matchup Dallas is the 4 seed.
If you go base don points scored, 4 seed.

For us to not be in you basically have to choose based on defense/points scored where we lose to virtually everyone but still somehow manage to get to 10-6.

I am not counting on any help, so I am going to assume Philly goes 3-0 until our week 17 showdown.

That means we have to win 2 of our next 3 to avoid being eliminated before week 17. If we lose to the Bears, that means we have to beat the Packers and Washington. Now if Rogers is not playing that will be a huge advantage for us because they freaking suck without him.

So yall all can guess where this is leading.....................a must win on the road against Washington............If there is any chance they can knock us out of winning the division, that stadium will have a playoff atmosphere. That will be their SB.

So... You're excited about the chance to beat the Sk*ns in their Superbowl if your chain of hypothetical suppositions actually plays out? Me too.

It sure beats getting eliminated by the Giants two weeks ago, anyway, which was the last predictive lock I remember hearing about.

Actually no..............I would prefer for us to beat the Bears and Packers and make the Skins game meaningless..............assuming the Eagles go 3-0 over this stretch.

And if you use defense or offense the Eagles are in and we're not. So it doesn't mean a lot more than we're sitting prettier right now than they are. That could change in one weekend. But it's fun to play with. :)

If we win the next three games and Philly loses one of their next 3 the last game will not matter if we lose to Philly, the division will be already won by us going into that game. First thing is first, we need to beat Chicago and Detroit needs to beat Philly. So pretty much lets take care of business, we control our own destiny.

I think what is worrying everybody is the winning 3 in a row part................we have not won 3 consecutive games all year.

What's good to see is (not there) but the Giants and Skins have an >99% chance of making the playoffs.

It's a lot easier to win the third when you've already won the first two. Right now, we only need to win one in a row to get to that third consecutive win (6 of, what, 8 overall?).

We need this game at Chicago. We win that game and Detroit beats philly we should be set. Green Bay should then shut down Rodgers.

A win against the Bears would be huge because I dont see Green Bay beating us without Rogers.................this assumes they put him on ice for the season.

What I am hoping for is a win over Chicago and Detroit beating Philly.................that guarantees that we cannot be eliminated before week 17.

We had a streak in 2003, with Quincy Carter.

Don't think you have to go that far back. I think in '07 we went from 5-1 to 12-1 (started that season off 5-0). Man looking back that regular season was awesome, just unfortunate what happened after :(.

Im still waiting on Woody Dantzler to come back and be our return man/Darren Sproles 3rd down back.

And there was another guy too, a runningback who everyone rued. Cant remember his name.

Very interesting. I never looked at it that way. Both games are 50/50 games. All 4 teams have a lot to play for. We have caught Chicago at their weakest right now. Their defense is playing terrible. We will just have to keep up with their offense. They have 2 huge physical receivers that are a bad match up for our CB's.

Detroit is fighting to stay on top of their division and won't be a lay down team against the Eagles.

This playoff generator is crap. I had Dallas, Detroit, and NO at 11-5 and it put Dallas as the 2 seed with NO as the 3 and Detroit at the 4. In that scenario, Dallas would be 4th (not sure who would be 2nd, probably NO).

I think that scenario is accurate. There is a shot at the 2nd seed, although a slim one.

There is, but not in that situation. Dallas lost to both Detroit and New Orleans, they cannot win a tie breaker with those two teams.

Looks like I'm back to being a part-time Lions fan again this week-end. I just checked and their game against the Eagles is on here at noon, Sunday. It's not too hard because I used to live up there and pulled for them unless they were playing the Cowboys.

If the Lions take care of business, we still need to beat the Bears. I just get the feeling if we can't win this game, the playoffs are going to slip away. Waiting for the last game of the season to make a move hasn't worked out well for us lately.:(
