2 of our last 3 wins against them have been without Lee. Carter needs to step up and make up for an inconsistent season he's having. I know he's not playing the mike but he is the most experienced LB out there and he needs to lead our defense.

Ware needs to rush with more tenacity, I was watching the replay of our last game and on that final drive he no push at all. He needs to be big in this game. I don't know if its an injury he's hiding or he's just declining, whatever the case we need a strong performance from him.

Going in to the season, most (experts and fans) thought LB was a strength of the Cowboys. 16 Weeks later and it is one of the weakest position of the Cowboys (and that is saying a lot) due to Carter playing well below average and Lee out again when all the chips are on the table.

It is just so difficult projecting strengths and weakness in the NFL these days. Injuries can decimate a position. It would be nice to draft a few LBs in the upcoming draft. We need someone to step in for Carter if he stinks again and we need someone to step in for Leee when he is out 8 games next year.

I'm hoping Holloman has a monster game ad really steps up next year to grab a starting position.

Wow what a surprise. Sean Lee injured? No way!

But some people actually justify his new contract even if it means he only plays 8 games a year. ***? Give me someone slightly less talented but can play a whole season. Because the drop off to Lee to the next guy is massive.

Thanks Jerry. More wasted money thrown at injury prone players. That's 2 years in a row he has missed the most important game of the season.

Wasn't expecting him to play anyways but its frustrating seeing leaders on this team not available when we need them the most throughout the years.

Yes I know Things happen, Players get hurt, but it never fails with the big contract guys onthe Cowboys.

It does seem that way. With Sean it is just expected now that he will get hurt & miss multiple games.

In a live press conference, Jason Garrett just said Tony and Sean are still day-by-day, and that one would hope they can heal enough to practice. But, he said the Cowboys don't have a rule that a player must practice to play.

Dallas is definitely a better team with him on the field because there's nothing but garbage behind him on the depth chart.

But in my mind he's a terrible player to have on the roster. He's slightly above average MLB. Too small to play MLB I think. He stays injured and you're lucky to get 6 to 8 full games a season out of him. And we won't even get into his contract

I would say he's better than "slightly" above average, but the rest I cannot argue with.

Slightly above average is not a knock on Sean Lee's ability. I say slightly because to have maximum value to me you need to actually be on the field

Two points about Lee for the thinking fan while others simplify the situation:

Lee's contract has contingencies for playing time built into it.

Did anyone see the play where he got injured? A fat guy landed on his neck (not sure how this is his fault or congruent to past injuries that have nothing to do with his neck); no one in the NFL would be playing though a neck injury when not cleared by team doctors.

They were smart with that part of the contract if that is true.

I myself wish he was not so injury prone because he is a difference maker & not just a body out there. No matter how he gets hurt the fact remains he is constantly hurt. Maybe he's not suited for the NFL. As it is I guess it's next year for him.

Just bad luck. I really don't buy into the injury prone label people love to throw around, unless its a reoccurring injury like Austin's hammys. I mean, if you where to break a leg one year and tear a bicep another, the two injuries have no physiological connection.

One injury after another. Isn't that what injury prone is? But anyway too bad for the team. They need him.
