Chip Kelly fostering an arrogant environment

I'm not a Garrett supporter, and I think we need more nasty players. But those complaining about RKG characters, would you rather what chip is fostering. Here are comments/actions taken by eagles players this year and mostly this week.

1) Riley Coopers racist remarks in the beginning of the year
2) Lesean Kamel McCoy wearing a champions belt. Who does that? You won the rushing title be a pro and get ready for the playoffs
3) Carey Williams and Jason Peters both said the Saints got lucky and aren't the better team. Who does that? Did you hear GB or KC say that after their losses?
4) Trent Cole saying the rookie LT has a fresh new car smell and that he's going to make his life hell. I didn't see Cole make any game changing plays
5) Desean Jackson asking for yet ANOTHER new contract today.

Here's my thing, most of these guys were on this team when Andy was around and aside from Desean this was a relatively quiet team off the field. I don't support Garrett as a head coach, but at least he isn't fostering this arrogant can't back it up environment.

Well, Im beginning to wish we were more of a bad boy team, this RGK stuff aint getting nothing but 8-8 and that sucks. Kelly had a good year from where the eagirls were last year. I'm thinking maybe we should try it, if cant hurt at this point.

Although I think Jerry is arrogant I'm not sure others think that. He just has that whole doofus thing going on.

And yes the Eagles have always had big mouths on that team.

I dont have a problem with 2 and 5. McCoy and Jackson are ballers they can do what they want. Carey and Peters are both scrubs. Cole's a player but that's a dick move. And I'm still waiting on someone to take 15 yards and a 2 game suspension for Cooper

I hear this said about our group a lot but, I'll say this about the eagles ....that group of players /core will never win a Super Bowl . Chip might but it won't be with that group...

1. That was beyond Chip. The owner dealt with Cooper and Chip allowed the team leaders to handle it. Jason Avant and Mike Vick were the two biggest people in the locker room that stepped up.

2. His financial adviser gave it to him as a joke afterwards

3. So what? Sports isn't always about dishing out platitudes towards the other team. They said that after the game and were still fired up from the game. They believed they gave the ballgame away and that they were the better team. I don't expect my team to think they should have lost. Had any Cowboys said that after the Eagles game I wouldn't be ripping them for it because I expect Dallas players to believe in themselves. We see this a lot...even after blowouts where the losing team doesn't always credit the loser.

4. Yep...he was shut down. Much of it had to do with the fact that Brees was so good at stepping up and allowing Cole to rush up the field while be climbed the pocket. But either way...he spoke up and failed to perform. He's got some egg on his face today.

5. Meh...no way shape or form a TO situation. It is going to be beneficial to the Eagles to re-do the deal too. Why? Because he is set to count $12.5M against the 2014 cap. A new deal will lower the 2014 and 2015 numbers which is helpful because the Eagles have to re-sign the 2012 class after next year (Cox, Kendricks, Foles, Boykin, etc)

The kind of arrogance that they are superior to you. Sorta like the Saints of a few years ago. The exuded that kind of cocky arrogance.

I think your Eagles hate is getting the best of you and this thread is pointless. Talk about the draft, free agency, how dumb Jerry is....just don't make up junk about a rival team for the heck of it. Just makes us look petty as a fan base.

And even so, If you're asking me which team environment I'd rather have I would take the Eagles over the Cowboys 100 times out of 100.

Yes, this year coming off a terrible season last season, with a rookie NFL coach, a new QB, etc.

If I am a Eagle fan, I am feeling pretty good about the future,

They have every right to be arrogant, they just hung up another illustrious division banner in their stadium, the pinnacle of all their winnings. Don't talk bad about the champs.

Why are some posters concern about the Eagles knowning that Dallas has major problems of their own?

I don't see it. Foles won't win in nfl. Unless he gets basketball players to catch jump balls all game long.

You might not have a problem with Jackson asking for more money, but he's currently getting paid more than several WR's that are much better than him, he's already getting buckets of money and Philly isn't going to pay more.
