Well, lookie here. Gimme and jnday agree on something.

Like you, I take youth -- and Dalton -- any day, with the expectation of promise and better days that youth holds. Romo, for all his personal stats of brilliance, simply has not been the sparkplug for the Cowboys that Staubach and Aikman half been.
Dalton had one bad game and he is dog meat. Romo half many bad games and he is a savior. I don't understand that logic.

.

You think Sunday was the only bad game Dalton ever had?

Let me put it this way: Sunday's game was the only one I half heard of that was publicized so much as a Dalton-can't-QB game.
All of the sudden he is worst than that Josh freeman guy and that is just plain inaccurate.

Probably because it is the 3rd straight postseason game he has completely crapped the bed. In 3 playoff games he has 1 TD and 6 interceptions and the team has scored a total of 33 points. We're not talking about a bad play or two, that is three complete post season meltdowns.

The GROD movement would be in full swing if he was here and did that.

These internet board topics will surprise you at times. Different topics brings different posters together depending on their opinions. That us why I don't take any grudges from topic to topic because I may disagree on one and agree with another from thread to thread. I don't take this stuff seriously at all. At the end if the day, all of our opinions don't mean anything to Jerry if the Cowboys. These boards are nothing more than entertainment.

At least he is getting them to the postseason.

If you don't think Romo would make the post season consistently with that defense I don't what else to tell you.

If we could have taken just two guys off that DL and put them on our team, we probably make the postseason with this team.

LOL "HE"

It's only one guy doing it guys !

Did they get there before that 1 guy was on the team in recent years? No, they did not. So yes, Dalton has played a role in getting them to the playoffs the last 3 years IN A ROW.

Making the post season is one thing.. actually winning when you get there is another. Romo on that same team would also lead them to the playoffs, but they wouldn't be going anywhere in the playoffs.

As opposed to the runs to glory that Dalton is giving them.

Romo have gotten tons of credit if he had led Dallas to the playoffs. Dalton shouldn't? There would be a dozen " Romo finally proved them wrong " threads if the situation was reversed.

You're missing the point. You guys are saying you don't want Romo because he can't "win the big game" but the guy you say you would rather have has been a complete basket case in all 3 playoff games he has ever played in.

At least be friggin consistent with the bias.

Dalton has a great supporting cast, Romo has an atrocious supporting cast. Put Romo on that team then they're playing for a bye week, put Dalton on this team we're playing for the worst record in the NFL.

You are confusing me with someone who cares which of the 2 QB's are better. In my opinion they are both chokers and are not capable of leading their perspective teams to the super bowl. I rate them as equals.

So if Eli were to get one more would he be like Montana, Brady, Aikman?

My point is ,
SB runs are all that matters. Regular season stats mean nothing to me..

In terms of some playoff success then yeah he'd be right up there. Cause he's done it multiple times.

Rodgers has done it 1 time. Just 1.

Thats the point. If Romo went on a run the next time he makes the playoffs and wins the Superbowl then all the sudden people would act like he's some sort of post season great QB. When in reality, like Rodgers, all he did was have one run.
