I don't root for players specifically, I root for the jersey regardless who's wearing it, I don't care what a player does once he's no longer a Cowboy and wouldn't think twice about it, that concept might sound odd but that's just me

I have to say Tyron Smith for me. Hes just growing and seems to be a good player and good human being so far. No knucklehead stuff or rumors or anything. Playing his position and getting things done for us.

No brainer it's Tyron Smith. I'd hate to see him pitching shout outs elsewhere. Franchise LTs are too hard to find.

Tyron and Dez.
Also Sean lee.

Tyron is extremely valuable bc of his position(LT) and how well he does it.

Dez: I own his jersey. I'd hate to burn it.

Lee: love the way he plays the game. Fearless. That's a good quality for a LB.
the defense got noticably even worse when he got hurt. The guy makes nearly every tackle. Put some talent in front of him.

Losing Ware was a serious test to my fandom. If Dez and Ware both left in the same offseason and went to the same team then I may have a new favorite team. To me football is all about the players. The Dallas Cowboys are not a magical organization that I pledge allegiance to. If they put out a team full of Josh Brents, Pac-Mans and T.O.s then I won't root for them. But for the most part I like the guys we have here and if you have grown up watching sports then at some point you have had to get over your favorite player leaving. So I suppose I could get over even Dez leaving.

I am not too attached to any of these guys. I have been too beaten down the past 3 seasons. If I had to pick one, it would be Romo. He was the glimmer of hope after nearly a decade of Jerry screwing around and trying to outsmart everyone. I think he got a raw deal here with Wilson and Garrett and it would burn me up if he went to another team and did well.

From the value point of view, Tyron Smith; from the emotional, Dez Bryant, i really believe that he could be a leader in the mold of Irvin.

I agree. He seems to have the attitude that this team needs, but has been missing for many years. He needs a couple more guys on the team that shares his passion.

I would hate to see Tony in another uni, but the other side of the coin is that if he were playing for another team, I would be rooting for him to get his Lombardi to quiet the naysayers

DB is no Irivin. That is a statement that makes no sense to me. The baby becomes the babysitter? I would trade DB this season if we could package the pick to move up for Sammy. :D

My nightmare scenario is Sean Lee goes to another team and miraculously plays 8 season straights without missing a game.
lol, at this point, would that even be surprising?

I agree with Dez. Would hate to see him in another uni, far more than Tyron.
