Garrett's first draft class, 2011, doesn't look so hot anymore.
Tyron is a really good player and got paid handsomely, but then again he was a top 10 pick.
Carter looks like he won't be getting a 2nd contract, and from the sounds of it the team is likewarm on giving Murray a 2nd contract due to injury history.
4th and 5th round picks David Arkin and Josh Thomas never amounted to anything.
Good possibility only 1 player from that class receives a 2nd contract, and at best it'll be 2.
2012 looks pretty dire as well.

Thomas is a Nickel CB in the league which is OK for a 5th round pick.
Not giving Murray a 2nd contract doesn't make him a bad pick. RB just don't get paid well these days unless they're at the very top.

Listening to today's Cowboys Break.(at the very beginning) They seem to think Carter is still following the 3 tech in alignments. So it isn't a typical strong/weak depending on the TE. So it at least sounds he is still out there playing the same spot with the 1s.

Mincey will move to DT in the Nickel. They want him to be the starter over Melton but they need him at DE. He's also a team captain.

Even this needs some additional depth...I still like Church in the role. Start developing the backside some more, or bring in a Burnett.

That would be a consistent three players rotating. Already, the WDE switched in unison with the 3 tech.
